www.rmwb.ca/construction Dear resident, As part of the 2016 Urban Infrastructure Rehabilitation Program (UIRP), the municipality is upgrading the infrastructure on Caldwell Crescent and Cowley Bay. Dene Skye Site Services Ltd. will be operating as the municipality’s contractor for this project. Construction will begin on May 27, 2016, with crews mobilizing equipment to the site on May 23, 2016. Work is expected to be completed by November 30, barring any unforeseen disruptions caused by weather or other unexpected factors. Caldwell Crescent and Cowley Bay will be receiving a full upgrade and rehabilitation of their stormwater, sanitary and water mains, as well as lot services, followed by the replacement of the roadway and sidewalks at the completion of construction. Construction is planned in phases, so as to minimize the disruption to you and your neighbors. Municipal contractors from Dene Sky Site Services Ltd. will deliver a second notice in advance of a work phase starting outside your home. The phases are: Phase 1 (May 27 – June 17): Starting at the southern end of Caldwell Crescent, to approximately 128 Caldwell Crescent. Phase 2 (June 15 – July 5): From 128 to 215 Caldwell Crescent (approximately) Phase 3 (June 29 – July 19): From 215 Caldwell Crescent (approximately) to Cornwall Drive, as well as a public utility laneway from Caldwell Crescent to Cowley Bay. Phase 4 (July 16 – Aug 5): The culdesac loop at the southern end of Caldwell Crescent and a public utility laneway, running between Caldwell Crescent and Cowley Bay. Phase 5 (Aug 4 – Aug 22): Cowley Bay from Caldwell Crescent to 140 Cowley Bay Phase 6 (Aug 4 – Aug 23): Public utility laneway running from the north intersection of Caldwell and Cornwell, to 136 Cowley Bay (approximately). Laydown YardThe laydown yard will be located on Duncan Drive.

Private Vehicle AccessResidents will be unable to use their private driveways during the time that work is conducted outside their homes. Temporary parking is available on Duncan Drive. Street parking will also be allowed.

Temporary Water & SewerWhile residents’ water mains are being worked on, they will be put on temporary water service. Residents will receive notice before the changeover is made and they will not experience any interruption in regular service.

Garbage Pick-UpResidents should continue to put their garbage out as per their regular schedule. Municipal contractors will coordinate the pick-up and return of garbage cans to residents. Residents are encouraged to mark garbage cans with their address, to make return easier.

Mailbox RelocationDuring the time which construction renders mailboxes inaccessible, the mailboxes will be moved by the contractor to an easily accessible temporary location.
