MAIN COURSE

• TORTILLA DE PATATA (OMELET)

INGREDIENTS:4 POTATOES1 ONIONOLIVE OIL SALT6 EGGS

HOW TO DO IT:

1st. Peel and wash the potatoes. Dry and cut them into thin slices. Put some olive oil into a frying-pan, salt the potato slices , put them in the pan and fry thepotatoes for 20 minutes. Add the chopped onion with the potatoes. When they are soft remove the onions and the potatoes.2nd. Beat the eggs and salt them, add the potatoes with the onion and mix well. In another pan heat up 4 oil tablespoonfuls, put the mix and fry on one side. With a plate turn the omelet (it must be fried on both sides).We serve it warm.

LOCAL COURSE

• SOPAS DE AJO (GARLIC SOUP)

INGREDIENTS:150g of ham10 garlic cloves 1 egg for each person12 slices of hard bread (or water)1 liter and half of beef brothSome salt and pepper50mL of olive oil 2 tablespoonfuls of cayenne

HOW TO DO IT:

1st. Peel and add the garlic cloves into a pan, then add 50mL of oil and saute them and add the ham. When it has brown colour, add 6 slices of hard bread.2nd. Move the pan away from fire and add 2 tablespoonfuls of cayenne, remove and move the pan into the fire. Add the liter and half of beef broth (or water).3rd. After 20 minutes, add the other 6 slices of bread, the pepper and the salt. Break the eggs and add them. It must be served it warm.

DESSERT• LECHE FRITA (FRIED MILK)

INGREDIENTS:

HOW TO DO IT:

1st. Boil into a pan 1 liter of milk with the cinnamon stick and the orange peel.2nd. Take a bowl and mix sugar, cornmeal and the boiled milk. Then put the mix on the fire around 15 min and stir it constantly . After that , empty it in a bowl and move it into the fridge.3rd. When the mix is solid take a knife , wet the blade with oil and cut the mix into little squares.4th. Put some cornmeal on a plate and the beaten eggs on another one. Then coat the pieces of milk in the beaten eggs and the cornmeal and fry them with olive oil.5th. When they’ve brown colour take it out and ready to eat!6th. ENJOY THEM!
