    Outlook for NovemberResidential real estate data for Torrance during November 2013 reveals market activity is trendingdownward relative to the month previous. Asides from improvements in the sales/listings ratio andmonths of inventory turnover, decreases in performance measurements for total sales, median salesprice, median days to sell, and listing were recorded. However, despite this information there is no reasonto be concerned as real estate market activity typically slows during the holiday season, historicallyspeaking. On the bright side, the median sales price in 2013 versus 2012 climb 4.3% or $23K.

    The forecast for December is not unlike November in that overall market performance is expected toproduce similar results. With this in mind, here are a couple of things to remember: 1) Buyers, mortgageinterest rates remain at historically low levels but may be going up soon once the Fed begins QE tapering,and 2) Sellers, as the quantity of listings decline so does the competition.
