Outlook for April The Torrance real estate market produced encouraging stats for March with almost every month-to-

month measurement indicator trending positive. The only exception was the median days to sell,

which slowed by a meager 3.4%. Overall, though, improvements were recorded for total sales, median

sales price, quantity of active listings, and the sales/listing ratio. Even the year-over-year median sales

price for March improved by more than $28K.

Looking ahead the forecast for April is simply more of the same. However, the deadline for paying

taxes might cause some distraction resulting in a short-term performance stall sometime around the

middle of the month. But, since the economy continues to show signs of healthy recovery, and

because the cost to borrow money remains relatively inexpensive, it is likely this positive trending

pattern will be repeated during the month of April.
