UNDER section 3 (2) of the Cattle Cleansing Ordinance, I hereby convene a meeting of all the landowners in that portion of the Nairobi District Council described in the Schedule to Government Notice No. 1083 of 1951.

The meeting wil be held on Thursday, 24th January, 1952, at 11 a.m. in the District Commissioner's Office, Nairobi, for the purpose of recording the votes of all such landowners as to whether or not they wish to be brought under the opera- tion of the Cattle Cleansing Ordinance.

For the purpose of section 3 (3) (b) of the Ordinance, votes in writing may be addressed to the District Commissioner, Nairobi, to whom the Provincial Commissioner, Central Pro- vince, has delegated his powers in relation to the holding of the statutory meeting.
