I heard the other day that we will spend over $600 billion this Christmas. Certainly, we should give to others and especially here at Christmas. But, could it be that we have exchanged the reason for the season for credit card debt, traffic jams, shopping malls, and gifts we may never end up using? I hope you will join us this Sunday morning as we reflect on the message of Christmas and how Jesus came to reconcile us to God. And don’t forget to bring your gifts to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions as we “March to the Manger”!

If you’re going to be in town this Sunday night, we hope you will make plans to join us for our candle-light Christmas Eve service at 5 pm. And if you’re going to have family in town with you, we hope you will bring them with you as well. We’ll sing some of our favorite Christmas music. Our children’s minister, Jeremy Sivils, has also planned a special moment for our kids. And I’ll bring a brief message centered around the question: “What Will You Give To Jesus This Christmas?” It should be a special night! Hope to see you there! In His Service, Bro. Bob

We had a great time on Wednesday night at our Christmas party! Hawaiian Christmas was the theme, and the fireside room certainly reflected that! It was a great night of fellowship together. Our students love to be together. It is always great to see them having fun together.

Next Wednesday night, December 27, we will NOT have youth. Merry Christmas everyone!

In Christ, Joel

All kids’ Sunday School Classes will meet in the Fireside Room on Dec. 24th instead of their normal classrooms for our annual Angel Breakfast!

Our Wednesday Night Missions will begin again on Jan. 3rd.

Awana will start back up on Jan. 7th.

Have a very Merry Christmas and safe travels to all! Cheerfully in Christ, Jeremy

Worship Music for Sunday (Dec. 24) This Sunday Bro. Bob will be preaching the final message in his series: “Home for Christmas,” entitled: “The Message of Reconciliation” from 2 Corinthians 5:21, at both AM services. Our praise team will lead the worship music for the Contemporary service at 8:30. The Worship Choir will open the 10:50 a.m. service

with "Glory in the Highest" from their Christmas book! Lance and Michael will play the instruments for that service. Plus, I will share a solo ("Jacob's Star") just before Bro. Bob's message. This Sunday Night the Christmas Eve Candlelight Service Starts at 5:00! THAT'S ONE HOUR EARLIER THAN OUR USUAL EVENING SERVICE START TIME! We will have Lance at the organ, and Brian Black with his guitar! Breanna Blackburn will lead a worship song, and Abey Frasure will share a piano offertory! Bro. Jeremy will have a Children's message up front! Bro. Bob will preach the Christmas message from Matthew 2:1-11! And, we will light the candles to sing "Silent Night" at the end! Don't miss it; it starts at 5:00! No Choir Practice THIS WEDNESDAY (Dec. 27) The Worship Choir will sing: "Prepare the Way" from their Christmas book on New Year's Eve Sunday. And, Stacy Bush will share a solo that Sunday morning! We WILL HAVE Contemporary Service at 8:30 a.m. and the Traditional Service at 10:50 a.m. with Brian Black preaching at both on Dec. 31

st! But there will be no Evening Service and no

Children or Youth meetings on Dec. 31. Yours in Christ, Mark
