    Daddy Daughter Night in the Old WestWe cordially invite all young ladies and their fathers or favorite male guardians (uncle, grandfather, etc.) to attend a boot-scootin night of fun, sure to creatememories for a lifetime. A live DJ provides themusic; each young lady receives a special gift and refreshments will be available. Tickets are onsale now and may be purchased at the Parks andRecreation office, 2512 Glade Rd., or online at until February 7. Hurry and getyour ticket today!

    Picnic Pavilion RentalsRentals include picnic tables for exclusive usethrough the rental process. Pavilions that areavailable for rent: City Park, Colleyville NatureCenter, Kimzey Park, McPherson Park, andSparger Park. Colleyville Nature Center is theonly pavilion with a grill.

  • Jo-Ann's Little DancersThese classes develop a childs poise andcoordination, while teaching fundamentalsof ballet and tap. Classes promote groupinteraction skills and support your childsself-esteem and positive self-image. Students develop rhythm and music appreciation skills.     Girls on the Run Girls on the Run (GOTR) uses interactiveactivities, such as running and creativegames, to teach you about importantissues. Youll learn to deal with peerpressure, body image, making healthydecisions, teamwork, and giving backto the community. Girls train togetherto walk or run a 5K at the end of theseason on April 27. Fee includes 24unique lessons by GOTR-trained staff,Girls on the Run t-shirt and entrance to the Girls on the Run 5K.

    Volleyball Mini Camp This all-skills volleyball camp brings themost qualified volleyball coaches in theregion to Colleyville. Designed to teachthe proper fundamentals of volleyball,the camp lets you acquire a solid skillsbase to build from as you continue togrow in the sport.     Colleyville Girls Youth VolleyballOur league is designed to introduceyoung ladies from nine to 13 years tothe game of volleyball. Created to provide a safe, fun environment tolearn the basic premises of the gamethrough practices, teaching fundamentalvolleyball skills, sports ethics, andleague competition. Players will get anhour and a half of practice each weekwith balls provided both at practice and games. Players will also receive ateam t-shirt. Register as a team or anindividual. Coaches can sign up an entire team with a minimum of eightplayers and maximum of 10 players at a discounted rate. Clinic for volunteercoaches will be available (March 24).Placement on a particular team is notguaranteed. The season will end with asingle-elimination tournament. Gamesare on Saturday starting April 6 throughMay 25. Registration ends March 18.

    Art Rocks! by AbrakadoodleThe stage is set for rock artists everywhere! Art Rocks combines fun music and energetic art for a wildly creative adventure. Campers will make musical instruments,learn about rhythm, and create some music of their own! Theyll design a poster promoting a concert, as well as a unique label for a CD. These rock artists will createtheir own rock art, design mystifying paintings to music, and try their hand at melodicaction painting. Come into the spotlight for a rocking good time! A $60 supply free is due on the first day of class. (Checks should be made payable to Abrakadoodle.)Instructor: Abrakadoodle
