How to Measure for Fishtail SwagsFishtail swags are 145” long. Measure the width of your window (where you will hang your curtains hooks). Subtract that amount from 145” and divide the remainder by 2. This is the length that the fishtail will hang down on the sides of your window. Fishtail curtains also work well on wide windows, use a 3rd hook as a center support and expect a shorter drop.
