Newcomers are always welcome. In the autumn, and again in January, we ran a series of open tasters for anyone to come and have a go. This brought us Andy, who had previous morris experience, though he spends much time working abroad. And in January it brought us Gary, also with previous experience. He’s been a couple of times so far and we very much hope he’ll continue to enjoy it. In November the Brackley Ladies Circle came and enjoyed an evening of dancing with us as you can see from the photos below. Tasters continue on 2nd & 9th Feb at 8.15pm in our practice hall at Manor Road CE Junior School, Brackley, NN13 6EE. All welcome. Please help us spread the word. If you miss these tasters, feel free to give us a call anytime. You’ll always be made welcome. This consisted of our collections on Boxing Day, a donation from the Brack- ley Ladies Circle, and additional funds from our own coffers. It’s always good to be appreciated! We received this certificate from Southfields School in appreciation of our recent performance at their Christ- mas Fayre. It’s always good to feel appreciated. Brackley Ladies Circle. The Brackley Ladies Circle (the ladies arm of the Round Table) joined us in November for a taster evening during which we taught them three dances. They responded after- wards with the note: “We all had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves. We’ll look out for you when you’re next dancing in Brack- ley.” They also gave us a donation which we agreed would be added to our annual gift to ‘Save the Children’ in January. The Old Fire Station We hope to be dancing on 18th Feb for the opening of the refur- bished fire station which will house a café with a heritage theme. We’ve provided them with a framed print, pictured left, show- ing the men in 1913,1963 & 2013

The Brackley Ladies Circle (the ladies arm of the Round Table) joined us in November for a taster evening during which we taught them three dances. Another annual event where we are invited by Sebastian and Victoria to Somerton Manor where we dance and wassail the apple trees. We also enjoyed their usual hospitality of home made cider, perry and cakes.
