TransmissionMAN 12 speed TipMatic (ZF AStronic) gearbox. 12 forward speeds, 2 reverse ratios. Suitable for gross train weights up to 70T (up to 90T upon application). Automated constant mesh gearbox. With MAN TipMatic, shifting and clutching are electropneumatic- there is no clutch pedal.

Normal mode is automated with manual mode available (shifting via fingertip lever). Driving with engaged PTO only in gears 2 or 4. ‘M’ setting for precise low-speed manoevering in forward and reverse. ‘X’ setting for offroad use.

Wheels and TyresFitted with 315/80R22.5 tyres with 9.00 x 22.5 10 hole steel disc wheels. Spare wheel carrier mounted on left side of chassis behind rear axle. Basic wheel changing equipment supplied.

Fuel TankAluminium combined 430L fuel / 75L AdBlue tank with lockable caps. Optional 600L fuel tank fitted on right + 35L Adblue tank on right between first and second axles.

FrameLadder frame made from QstE500TM high strength steel. Frame Dimensions 270mm x 85mm x 9.5mm. 3-piece steel bumper fitted. Medium Height clearance design.

Front Under Run Protection System (FUPS) not fitted to this model due to off road vehicle classification.

Intake / Exhaust SystemRaised air intake with pre-filter mounted on the rear L/H side of the cab with air filter housing under rear of cabin.

Exhaust is downswept, positioned on left between the first and second axles. Factory option positioned behind 2nd steer.

Front Axles / Suspension2 x MAN VO-09 (2 x 9,000kg) straight front axles with ‘sealed for life’ hub units, parabolic springs rated at 2 x 8,000kg with load sharing. Stabilisers and shock absorbers fitted to both axles.

Rear Axles / SuspensionMAN HPD1382 / HP1352 hub reduction rear axles with ‘sealed for life’ hub units. Slide shackle multi-leaf springs with stabilisers and shock absorbers. Fitted with Differential Locks and Interaxle Lock. Optional differential ratios available: 3.25, 3.63, 4.33, 4.83.

Cab InteriorHigh comfort ISRI drivers seat with air suspension, lumbar adjustment, heating and integrated seat belt, with arm rests. Factory fitted climate control system.

Double DIN sized MAN Topline stereo system with 5.2” touchscreen, AM / FM tuner, CD player, USB & auxiliary inputs, Bluetooth, control functions integrated with the multi function steering wheel.

6-speaker sound system and sub-woofer (no sub on M cab).

Electrically operated power windows, interior sunblinds to windscreen and both doors.

Full curtains to sleeper cab. Central storage box between seats. Large storage drawer in dash console, modular cup holder.

Silver dashboard trim strip, glasses compartment in dashboard. Reading lamps for driver and co-driver.

Brake SystemMAN Electronic Brake System (EBS) with Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Anti Skid Regulator (ASR) and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) fitted as standard.

Drum brakes fitted to all axles. Full air operated system fitted with air dryer. MAN ‘easy start’ function holds service brakes on hills for smoother pulling away. Hand operated trailer brake.

Cab ExteriorCab compliant with ECE R29 safety requirements. All metal parts are Galvanised. 65 degree cab tilt angle, 87 degree door opening.

Entry lighting for driver and passenger. Central locking for both doors.

Electrically adjustable and heated rear view and kerb-view mirrors. Manual front-view mirror.

Built-in side storage lockers on L cab. Electrically operated cab tilting mechanisim.

Mechanical roof hatch. Coil sprung cab mounts front and rear.
