Dear Grape Stompers, Congratulations to our students who have come this far in our class. Charlie tells us that we only have about 7 more calls to teach. This means that in a few weeks you will have been exposed to all the calls in the Basic, Mainstream and Plus levels. It is important to know that these last calls on the Plus list will be building on what you already know from the Basic and Mainstream calls. It is also important that you do your best to attend class and pay attention to Charlie's teaching. Remember that the learning continues. You may have noticed that even the very experienced angels make mistakes and can learn something now and then. Please don't take this too seriously and know that you will make mistakes. Take a deep breath, smile and keep on dancing. There is always something more to learn. This is not the end of your square dance journey. Enjoy the journey and have FUN with it. After graduation, we will continue Monday evenings with workshops and fun dancing until our next new class starts in September. We would like to thank the angels that have committed to helping our students during this class. We have always enjoyed sharing the fun of square dancing with new dancers and hope you have too. These last few calls on the Plus list can take a little extra time to teach, therefore we have two requests of the angels. 1. Be very careful about talking when Charlie is teaching. It is important that our students have every opportunity to hear Charlie. 2. Be mindful of talking to Charlie during the breaks. We all love to talk to Charlie but be aware of his time. Know that your long conversations are taking time away from the class at this very critical time. Once again, thank you for all of the effort that you put into making our class a fun learning experience for our students. Mark your calendars - class graduation/party time is Monday, June 26.
Jerry & Veronica Ellie: What kind of bee is the
most indecisive?
Charlie: I’m not sure, which
one?
Ellie: A Maybe!
Something salute worthy?? Please be sure to
bring refreshments to our dance on the 20th!
We are known for having a good spread, and
need to keep the reputation up. Ask Shawn
for any recommendations or anything she’d
like you to bring in particular.
0Please let Bob & Sharon know if any of our fellow dancers are
in need of cheering up or have any happy news to share with
us! A quick update on some of our friends this month:
Carol Pitchard - enzyme imbalance
Kristine Hoffman - mother passed
Don Cardamon - surgery
Karin Sanchez - surgery
Puterbaugh’s – finally moved!
Veronica Davis – 4th
Shawn Horowitz – 15th
Jim Warner – 26th
Walter Wilson – 3rd
FREE MONEY.....You could be the next big winner. The drawing for the prize will be at our club dance immediately following the visitation. Come dance at our May 12th visitation to The
Whirlaways for the opportunity to win! We had two drawings at the April dance; Cara Moore & Diana Ludwa’s names were drawn, but
they did not attend the visitations. The pot is now at $15 increasing monthly until we have a winner again.
Remember, visitations are designed so you can meet new callers, cuers and dancers, and they in-turn, will come visit the Grape Stompers. Please support these dances.

Board meetings are held on the 2nd
Wednesday of every month. All members
are welcome to our May 10th meeting at 7
PM held at the Davis’ home.
There will be no class on Monday May
29th due to the Memorial Holiday – we
will have a social meeting instead
We are proud to support the Semper Fi Fund again this
year. Participate by donating by cash or check, buying or
donating an item at our silent auction, or by asking friends
and neighbors to sponsor you at the dance ($ for number of
tips you dance/# of twirls/etc.). Last year we donated $1268
to this fund. Let's see if we can increase that amount. Thank
you for your support.
