Andy Warhol (true: Andrew Warhol). Born August 6, 1928  in Pittsburg (USA), died February 22, 1987 in New York.

Igor I. SikorskyIgor I. SikorskyBorn May 25, 1889 in Kiev, died October 26, 1972 in Easton (USA). Aircraft designer and entrepreneur.

His achievements - the invention of the helicopter, and many entirely new types of aircraft, a decisive contribution to the creation of the Russian aviation industry and the world's first multi-engined aircraft giant in the First World War, working in the U.S. first intercontinental airliner, helicopter serial organization.

Mykola D. Leontovich Mykola D. Leontovich (1877-1921)

Ukrainian composer. Author commonly arrangements for the choir of Ukrainian folk songs. His treatment of the Ukrainian "Shchedryk" is well known worldwide as the Christmas carol Carol of the Bells, but no one identifies it with Ukraine.

Vitaliy and Vladimir Klitschko.Vitaliy twice  defended a world title Heavyweight WBC in 2010. His brother did the same feat, but according to IBF .

Andriy ShevchenkoForward "Dinamo", Milan, Chelsea and the Ukrainian  team went into compiled by British magazine World Soccer Top 50 people who had the greatest influence on the development of football in the last 50 years.

Milla Jovovich was born in Kyiv. In 1980, when Milla was five years old, her family left the Soviet Union. Now she is famous supermodel, actress, musician, and fashion designer.

French actress and model of Ukrainian descent. Olga Kurylenko played girls of the main characters in two film adaptations based on the game “Hitman”, “Max Payne” and the continuation of the popular series of James Bond “Quantum of Solace”.
