Last year I upgraded from girlfriend 6.2 to Wife 1.0 and noticedthat the new program began making unexpected changes tothe accounting software, abnormally increasing the size of thewardrobe folder, and funny attempts to instal Jewellery 2.0 and

gifts 3.0 which were the reasons that made me upgrade from girlfriend6.2 in the rst place. No mention of this phenomenon was included in the product brochure.

In addition, Wife 1.0 has plug-ins that I did not expect when I upgrad-ed from girlfriend 6.2. Like cellulite 3.2, chaama 1.0, ugly head-stock-ings 1.0 and excessive weight add-ons. I have tried to stabilize mysystem by installing mpango wa kando 2.0 but the wife 1.0 programhas very good virus de nition les and immedietly blocked mpango wakando 2.0 by agging it as a back door program.

As a result of running Mpango wa kando 2.0, Ongea 8.0 no longer runs, except if am concurrently running visitors 2.5. Any other attemptsto run Ongea 8.0 invariably crashes the system. I have thereforeresulted to using speakToMboch 2.5 which is.............................

The Engineering Students Association (ESA) a professional body within the school of engineering of the University of Nairobi. ESA brings together students taking courses in the departments of Electrical and Information Engineering, Civil andConstruction Engineering, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, Environmental and Bio-systems Engineering andGeospatial and Space Technology Engineering. As a link to the Industries, Corporate and the Government on Engineeringstudents professional concerns, ESA has been playing a pivotal role in the academic life of engineering students. ESAhas been organising talks, exhibitions and even industrial trips to enable the members appreciate the practical aspect of the engineering eld.

We have been actively linking with professional bodies such as the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) and theInstitute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). We also do have attachment linkages with the Centurion Systemswhere they train some of our student members over the academic holidays. We are always seeking to partner with other institutions and companies for the betterment of the welfare of the engineering students.

ESA is currently actively sourcing for sponsorship for the annual Engineers dinner to be held at the Laico Regency. Thisalways acts as a forum for the students to interact with the engineers in the eld share experiences. We have as wellseveral other activities in our plan like the students academic tours and the annual career fair and exhibitions. To enable ESA serve its members effectively, we have set up committees with speci c objectives. The editorial board isone of the committees and its mandated with the production of the ESAs magazine, the Student Engineer. The committeeis as well authorised to source for advertisements and sponsorship in relation to the production of this magazine.
