Academic and Curriculum Support 1 12/13/18 Your Degree Audit Once you have successfully accessed Degree Works through Single Sign-On your degree audit will display. The “FAQ” option will open the Degree Works Frequently Asked Questions on the Office of Academic & Curriculum Support’s website. The “Log Out” option will log you out of Degree Works. It is recommended that you log out each time you exit Degree Works. At the top of the audit your current information will display including: UIN, Name, Degree, Major, Classification (freshman, sophomore, etc.), and the last time your audit was run. Below that information are two tabs, the default tab is “Worksheets”. There are three different formats to the “Worksheets” tab: “Student View”, “Graduation Checklist”, and “Registration Checklist”. You may toggle between these three formats by selecting them from the drop down arrow as shown below and clicking “View”. You may also save your degree audit as a PDF document. Please Note: When printing your degree audit click “Save as PDF” first, and then print from the PDF display. Printing this way will print your degree audit in the correct format. A short disclaimer and a legend for your reference display at the end of your audit.

audit. This bar is only used as a visual representation and may not reflect an accuratepercentage of degree completion.

• Your degree audit is broken down into what we call “blocks” including: degree block, generaleducation block, common prerequisites block, etc.

• Each block lists requirements as complete, not complete, or in-progress.• The degree block lists all of the other blocks contained in your degree audit. Each block can be

viewed by scrolling through the audit or clicking on the link(s) shown below.

Your Degree Audit cont. • Requirements within certain “blocks” may have specific courses listed. These courses are

hyperlinked. If you click on a specific course a new window will open detailing the courseinformation.

• A completed course will display the earned grade (transfer courses will show with a “T” beforethe grade) and in-progress courses will display with a REG to indicate you are registered for thecourse. The number of credits and the term a course is completed or in-progress will alsodisplay.

Your Degree Audit cont. • At the end of your degree audit courses that count toward electives, were not passed, repeated,

or withdrawn from, and are in-progress will display.• Your advisor or other campus offices have the ability to write notes for you and those will

display at the end of the audit as well.

Your Degree Audit cont. • The two other formats available on the “Worksheets” tab that were mentioned previously are

the “Graduation Checklist” and “Registration Checklist”.• The “Graduation Checklist” lists all completed requirements in a more compact view than the

“Student View”.

• The “Registration Checklist” lists all of the requirements that are not complete.
