Low Output is converted from a standard unit in the field by removing the knock outs.
Size range vary from 668 CFM to 11,900 CFM. BTU Output/Temperature rise vary based on enter air and water temp.
By opening the knock outs in the back you allow more CFM to flow threw the unit reducing your temperature rise.9Louvers (Vertical)OSHA Fan Guards
Louver Cone DiffuserOSHA Fan Guard is standard on HS serpentine units. Also Standard on HS size 18-48 header style units and optional on coil model HS 60-360 with single phase standard totally enclosed motors only. It is optional on all VS sizes. OSHA fan guards should be used when mounting units below 8 feet per CSA and OSHA requirements. It is also a good idea to use them in applications where someone may be able to touch the fan.
Louvered Cone Diffuser blades can be field adjusted. They are used to increase the maximum mounting height.
Note units can not be ordered with both an OSHA Fan Guard and Louvered Cone Diffuser. It has to be one or the other.

Motors include thermal overload protection and ball bearings. Note depending on unit size and voltage, both motor types may not be available.

EXPLOSION PROOF MOTORSAn enclosed motor whose enclosure is designed and constructed to withstand an explosion of a specific gas or vapor which may occur within the motor and to prevent the ignition of this gas or vapor surrounding the machine.Sterling motors comply with the National Electrical Code classification as follows:Class I, Group D; all sizesClass II, Group F; all sizesClass II, Group G; all sizesDivision I & II Installations T-code (T3B)Explosion proof equipment is not generally available for Class I, Groups A and B and it is necessary to isolate motors from the hazardous area. All explosion proof motors are shelf mounted.

U6 - Steam Pressure Control (open on rise in pressure) is a Johnson Controls P47AA-1U7 - Steam Pressure Control (close on a rise in pressure) is a Johnson Controls P47BA-1The P47 steam pressure controls that open on rise are designed for high limit or operating control applications. A typical use is as a limit control on steamheating systems. Models that close on a pressure increase are used on steam unit heaters to avoid blower operation when steam pressure is below the point required for adequate heating.
U5 - Strap on Hot Water Control is a Johnson Controls A-19DAC-12CThis control features a single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switch and is designed especially for mounting on hot water pipes. As a high temperature operatingcontrol, the contacts open on a rise in temperature. U9 Manual Starters 1 Phase is a General Electric CR101Y1 Manual Full Voltage Starter for single phaseU0 Manual Starters 3 Phase is a General Electric CR1062R3AAP2000 Manual Full Voltage Starter for 3 phase.Manual starters are used as on/off switches but have the added advantage of built in overload protection. It is used in applications where the unit will not be controlled by a Tstat or where additional overload protection is required. *Note: Manual starters ordered for explosion proof motors are not explosion proof, they come in an Nema 1 enclosure. The explosion proof version is just rated for the additional amp draw of the explosion proof motor and should not be located in a space with explosion proof requirements.
U8 5.0 Amp Speed Control Switch - is the KB Electronics KBWC-15K (Only available on HS 108A-136A and 18-108, VS 40-104)Speed control is used to reduce the fan speed resulting in a decrease in CFM and an increase temperature rise. Fans at lower speed will also be quieter. 13Phenolic CoatingV1 Phenolic Coating (Air Dried)The unit is coated with the Heresite VR-514 coating. It is a special primer-finish combination that is specifically designed for salt water services.It is ideal for use in building located on or near the ocean or other large bodies of salt water.
V2 Phenolic Coating (Baked)The unit is coated with the Libcote-7-9818 coating.It is specifically designed for use in moist, wet or damp environments. It is ideal for use in waste water treatment plants or in spaces with excessive amounts of steam or humidity in the air.
Phenolic coatings are used in corrosive environments that would normal shorten the life span of the equipment. The entire unit except the fan motor will be coated.
V5 is V1 applied to the vertical louvers.

U1 Line Voltage Stat Off/Auto Switch is a Honeywell T451B. Set point range from 50 F to 86 F. Size 4 x 2 15/16 x 1 . -Tstat is powered by line voltage (120 VAC 277 VAC). It has two settings, off and auto. Auto will automatically turn on the fan when the temperature drops below set point. When the temperature rises above the set point, the fan will turn off.
U2- Line Voltage Stat Auto/Off/Fan Switch is a Honeywell T4051A 1003. Temp range 50-80 F. Size 5 x 3 1/8 x 1 5/8. -Auto will automatically turn on the fan when the temperature drops below set point. When the temperature rises above the set point, the fan will turn off. The fan switch allows the user to force the fan on. Single Pole Single Throw. Includes Subbase Q651A1009.
U3- Line Voltage Stat Auto/Off/Fan Switch Heavy Duty is a Honeywell T6051A. Temp range 50-80 F. Size 6 3/8 x 5 13/16 x 6 1/16. -Same as U2 (120VAC or 240 VAC) but can also do cooling. Single Pole Double Throw. Includes Subbase Q651B1008

U4 Celsius Line Voltage Thermostat is a Johnson Controls T46ABH-1C with face plate. The faceplate is what is Celsius (Johnson Controls p/n PLT333-5R). Size 4.84 x 4.71 x 1.75. Range 10-32 degrees Celsius.Has a auto-off-fan settings. -Auto will automatically turn on the fan when the temperature drops below setpoint. When the temperature rises above the set point, the fan will turn off. The fan switch allows the user to force the fan on. 120-277 VAC
W1 T6169C Line Voltage Thermostat w/ Subbase is a Honeywell T6169C4015. Size 4.488 x 4.606 X 1.732. Range 44-86 degree Fahrenheit. Unit runs off 120-270 VAC. Has Auto/Off setting. -Auto will automatically turn on the fan when the temperature drops below set point. When the temperature rises above the set point, the fan will turn off.
