book will be available for optional purchase of $15.
The audio recordings of these lectures are under the “Class Audio Recordings” button on the Adult Education page of our parish website.
There will be NO class on Sunday, February 16th.
Commons Chair Re-Covering Project The chairs in the Commons are going to be re-covered!
The bottom seat cushions will be removed and washed. A new high-density foam will be installed, and the fabric will
be replaced. Donations to cover the cost of this project, which will be about $3,200, would be greatly
appreciated. The chairs will be re-done in batches of 20 so as not to take too many out of circulation
at one time. We have already raised $2,890!

Saint Peter Damian (February 21)
Saint Peter Damian lived in the 11th century. He was a orphaned as a child and treated badly by
one of his brothers. However, he always found time to care for the poor and needy around him. His eldest brother took Peter Damian in as a young man and educated him. It was because of this that
he became a professor and eventually a monk. Upon the
death of the abbot, he was appointed abbot and continued to establish new
hermitages. Eventually he was appointed cardinal-bishop of Ostia by the pope. He wrote many sermons and is now
considered a Doctor of the Church.
