The perfect shave - in 4 simple steps
1. Prep your skinFirst, cleanse your skin using warm water and a mild face cleanser to prevent shaving rash and irritation. The warm water softens your skin and stubbles which provides a better surface for shaving. Consider scrubbing your face with a face scrub twice a week. It will remove dead skin cells, dirt and help prevent ingrown hairs.
2. Apply shaving soapGet a closer and more comfortable shave by massaging a few drops of shaving oil into the skin using gentle circular motions. Let the shaving oil settle for 1 minute before applying shaving soap. Soak the shaving brush in lukewarm water. Gently shake off excess water. Build a rich lather using the brush and apply onto your face in circular motion.
To reduce friction between the blade and your skin, use a shaving oil. This will make the blade glide smoothly through the hairs.
3. Shave and rinse Shave your face with a clean, sharp blade. When finished, rinse your face with cold water to close pores. Rinse the razor and shaving brush thoroughly with warm water.
4. Protect your skin After shaving, your skin may feel dry and itchy. Apply a few drops of shaving oil to calm and nourish your skin, it will also help to prevent skin irritation. Finish your shaving routine by adding face cream.

Get to know your oil
Meraki Pure Oil is one of our most beloved “keep it simple” products. It is a multi-purpose oil packed with nourishing ingredients that are great for your skin. It can be used as body oil, massage oil, makeup remover, for dry skin areas, ends of hair and when shaving. Or add a few drops of oil to your face cream and body lotion for extra moisturising care.
