Veterans and Active Military Ministry: For the sixth year, St Luke’s will field a team for the 4 Our Freedom 5k on Saturday, June 1st. Anyone who enjoys an early morning walk/run (we are not competitive!), please join us. All the proceeds support local active duty and veterans. Parishioners who can’t participate, but want to support this worthwhile cause, please donate at the 4 Our Freedom website and let Lou know so you can be acknowledged. UTO Ingathering: Our UTO ingathering is this Sunday, May 12. Please bring your UTO boxes and place them in the plate or you may also write a check for the equivalent of what is in the box and put UTO on the memo line. Judy Gifting and Outreach: St Luke's has established a grants/gifting outreach program to provide support for needy individuals and groups. The outreach committee recommends to the vestry their suggestions for awarding these grants/gifting. We are budgeted for a June and December gifting period. Suggestions from the congregation for the June gifting cycle should be made to one of the gifting committee members consisting of Joe Gieck, Judy Crosby, Ashby Kindler or Alicia Lenahan by the end of May.

Props: If you have loaned props, costumes, jewelry etc to the group that’s making the video “Biblical Woman”, your items will be available for pickup before or after church on Sunday May 12. Please pick them up asap but definitely by the following Saturday May 18th. After that items that were given, to or purchased by, the video group will be available on a first come/first served basis.
