CONCEPT 1 : STEREOTYPE
1. STEREOTYPEDefinition-Often created about people at their specific cultures and races. Usually justify behaviors that systematically advantages or disadvantages a group
Example-Daniel was being look down by his course mate due to his races and identity.
CONCEPT 2: CONFIRMATION BIAS
2.CONFIRMATION BIASDefinition-Paying attention only to information that supports our beliefs
Example-Daniel beliefs that he could be more successful compare to his other course mates even he is a foreign student.
CONCEPT 3: LOVE AND BELONGING NEEDS
3. LOVE AND BELONGING NEEDSDefinition- The need of friends, affectionate relationships, children, and a sense of community.
Example-Daniel was trying to be friendly with his course mate to make friend with them. Because he need for accompany like friends
CONCEPT 4: SOCIAL LOAFING
4. SOCIAL LOAFINGDefinition- People exerting less effort to achieve a goal when they work in a group then individual
Example-Daniel think that he only have to put in less efforts for the group assignment because he believe that his friends could work on it.
CONCEPT 5: COUNTERFACTUAL
THINKING
5. COUNTERFACTUAL THINKINGDefinition- The tendency to create possible alternative to life events that already happened
Example-Daniel then feels regard and think that he should have study harder to accomplish a good result.
