On motion and second, The Shreveport Company’s petition to erect telephone posts and string wires on the same, on the public roads, was granted under the fol- lowing conditions, i. e., That all telephone posts to be placed out- side of the road ditehes so as not to interfere with the public travel, and in the event that the public road has to be changed, the nec- essary removal of all telephone posts shall be made at the ex- pense of the Company. If the owner should not appear within the five days, the constable shall proceed to sell the property on the sixth day, at public auction, to the last and highest jidder—one-fourth of the sum realized from the sale to go the party making the report and taking up the nog or hogs; one-fourth to the constable, and one- half to the School Board. But when the owner appears within the five (5) days and proves property, the same shall be delivered to him or her upon payment of such damages as the constable may assess. When any hog or hogs shall be found depredating upon the property of any person, the damages-so assessed shall go to the said party who is the sufferer by said depredations, less fifty cents, which shall be paid the constable. An Ordinance Levying a Ten Mill Tax on all the property in Bossier Levee District subjest to taxation for Levee purposes for the year 1903. Be it Ordained by the Board of Com- missioners of the Bossier Levee District in regular session convened, That a District Levee Tax of ten (10) mills on the dollar of its assessed valuation be and is hereby levied on all property situated in the Bossier Levee District, subject to taxation for levee purposes, for the year 1903. On motion and second, Polling precint was established in ward 1, at Taylortown, to be known as Precint No. 3.

On motion and second, The Shreveport Company’s petition to erect telephone posts and string wires on the same, on the public roads, was granted under the fol­lowing conditions, i. e., That all telephone posts to be placed out­side of the road ditehes so as not to interfere with the public travel, and in the event that the public road has to be changed, the nec­essary removal of all telephone posts shall be made at the ex­pense of the Company.

her duty to report the same to the con stable, who shall make the written notices and post, as prescribed in case the prop­erty is taken up by the constable. If the owner should not appear within the five days, the constable shall proceed to sell the property on the sixth day, at public auction, to the last and highest jidder—one-fourth of the sum realized from the sale to go the party making the report and taking up the nog or hogs; one-fourth to the constable, and one- half to the School Board. But when the owner appears within the five (5) days and proves property, the same shall be delivered to him or her upon payment of such damages as the constable may assess. When any hog or hogs shall be found depredating upon the property of any person, the damages-so assessed shall go to the said party who is the sufferer by said depredations, less fifty cents, which shall be paid the constable. When no damages shall be caused by depredation, but assessed as a penalty,

No other marks or brands. Colt looks to be about 5 years old ; has one white foot. Both wild. Can be seen in T. W. W. Stinson’s pasture, near Benton.
