Who's Who in the Cast . . . ROSEMARY PRINZ (Jennifer Rumson),
af:ectionately known as "Penny Baker" by her' millions of fans, stars on the CBS TV's day- time serial, "AS T H E WORLD TURNS." She is also more locally known as the "Sweetheart of ~ t u h i o 42" where the show is produced. As much for her mercurial tem erament as for her ready smile and quick wit. h i s s Prinz has cap- tivated her co-workers and audiences alike. Her charm and talent have been well known from coast to coast since 1956 when "AS T H E WORLD TURNS" went on the air. She was by then a veteran actress-hav~ng been a pro- fessionai since the tender age of l 6 - a n d having ap eared all over the country in stock and in a hak dozen road shows including JOAN OF LORRAINE with the late Diana Barrymore. T H E SECOND MAN with Gene Raymond, GLAD TIDINGS with Constance Bennett and the starring roles in KISS AND TELL and MY SISTER EILEEN. During the early years of s t uggle Miss Prinz worked at more odd jobs between'shows than can be recounted. She sold pots. from door to door, hat-checked. typed, was a m~dn~ght-to-dawn control board operator for a private protection association and even worked in the garment center. Miss Prinz now lives in a Manhattan apartment in the East Sixties and survives on a schedule that would make most people collapse. Aside from her lonu days at the studio (730 a.m.-550 p.m,) and re- qwred study a?d memorization, Miss Prlnz takes daily vo~ce lessons body movement classes. professional acton' workshop clasaas. has a French tutor and is a tireless reader.

MICHAEL WRIOHT (Steve) is a native of Durham. North Caro l ih althou h he calls Shelbyville Illinois his home. ~ g e r padua- tion from 'hi h school M~chael continued his education an% received his B S Degree from North Carolina College and hi; 'M.s. from Co- lumbia University but a portion of each year of his time he devoted to his first love-the theatre. Michael attracted the attention of the noted photographer Carl Van Vechten and was referred to a later-to-be history making produc- tion of HAM.LET. He was asked to play a featured role In the Company's next production, the American remiere of the noted Danish playwright Kaj bonk's T H E WORD. As a re- sult of his performance 1n thia productron he was asked to pla the male lead in the off- B'wa revival o r T H E VOICE OF T H E T U R ~ L E , and later re laced the romantic lead in the flounderin off!~'wa musical entitled T H E WORLD 18 MY O Y ~ T E R . From this show, nightclub offers came in and from the intimate nightclubs came his chance to play a role in the Broadway hit AMAICA which starred Lena Horns and diciardo Montalban. This led to ap earsnces on several radio shows and the S T E V ~ ALLEN SHOW on NBC-TV. Recently Michael made a recording of "Corina, Corina" which has been released in Euro~e . and has been busy appearing a t ma leadin - nigh* clubs. ANN FO- (Sarah Woodlina) made her Grand Theatre .debut as Blpody Mary in last season's opening productron of SOUTH PACIFIC and remained in Sullivan to appear ss Melba, the girl reporter, in PAL JOEY. Aqn has appeared in a great variety of roles both m musical comedy and drama in tb Chicago area. He re- turned to his native Sullivan in the Spring of In57 to produce his first SUMMER OF MUS- ICALS.
BETTY CHAMBERS (Elizabeth) ap- peared In eve productron presen,ted a t the Grand during g e seasons of 1957 58 '59 and '60. This summer Betty will ap ;ar ik all the shows with the exception o? TAKE ME ALONG. Betty, who hails from Indiana, has been extremely popular with central Illinois audiences for her versatility as a dancer, singer and actress. Her strikrng performance as Susan, the deaf mute, in FINIAN'S RAINBOW won her great applause her frrst season rn Sul- livan. MARIETTA. .During the winter months she is a busy professronal dancer, appearing a t leading supper clubs and hotels in Boston, Atlantic City. New York and throughout the Eastern part of the country. Last season Betty appeared as Liat in SOUTH PACIFIC Louise in CAROU- SEL, Mammy Yokum in ~ ' I L ABNER as well as supporting roles in the other roductions. JACK KIRKBY (Scenic and Lighting De- signer) rs the extremely talented young artist who desi s his first sets a t the Grand for PAINT EUR WAGON this week. Jack is a native of Chicago and received his degree with a majpr in drama from Northwestern University. W h ~ l e at Northwestern, Jack wrote and de- signed the scenery for a number of ~roductions including 8 productions of the famous "WAA- MU" show. While still in college he served as desivner for two seasons a t the Fox Valley Musrc Theatre and executed the sets for CAROUSEL BRIGADOON T H E MERRY WIDOW i ) ~ T H E TOWN ANNIE GET YOUR 'GUN and BITTE~SWEET with eanetre MacDonald. Before comin to Sullivan he designed the scenery for %e Oak pard Village Festival production of MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM and directed and choreographed a cabaret revue entitled "PARTY O F .SIX STRIKES BACK" which is currently berng vrewed In Chrca o land. This fall Jack will serve as the head of a designing department for a lar e contractor and building firm in a northern sufurb of Chicago.
