BENEFITS FOR THE STUDENTS

Students attending Repubblica@SCUOLA improved their schoolperformance. They improved their writing skill and they had a greatchance to develop their personal way of writing, while having fun.

Students experienced teamworking in their classrooms, improvingrelationships with schoolmates and teachers. They can feel theatmosphere of a newsroom, working together to a new website,ww.repubblicascuola.it.

The have a “digital space” where they can express their thoughtsand opinions, meeting new friends all over Italy.

Students for the first time can show their articles published on line totheir parents and friends: most of them said that they discuss athome about their works. A new way to create a connection betweendifferent generations: youths and adults.

They got habit of reading news: most of them buy newspapersdaily or searches for news on the web.

STUDENTS’ VOICE

Repubblica@SCUOLA has been the most enriching experience I went through: it allowed usto express our thoughts in a world whose ideas are, like Plato’s, closed in a parallel worldunknown to us.

Pennavvelenata – Liceo Classico, Poppi (Ar)

I just write when I feel something, when I can hear my inner voice. It takes a long time forme to write: I read the article of the journalist, then I think so much. Articles have to be likemusic: they have to sound good.

Aledin – Liceo Scientifico Cremona, Milano

Being a journalist is very important: articles are read by thousands people. Thinking thatwhat I have written has been published on www.repubblica.it makes me feel so emotioned.I wish my opinions can be shared with other people.

Joe22 – Liceo Scientifico Cremona, Milano

I attended for the first time the informatics laboratory and this has been a very enrichableexperience for me.The biggest surprise has been “discovering” my students through their articles.
