Numerous exercise events are scheduled throughout the Washington Navy Yard and NSF Anacostia and will be occurring 24/7 during the exercise. This exercise is designed to prepare security and emergency response forces and command and control personnel for operational commitments and critical incidents. All personnel should expect increased security measures implemented at entry control points (gates, building entrances, etc.), traffic rerouting, and/or building evacuations at various locations to include a reduction in parking. We will work to minimize these inconveniences, but PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY. Exercise events will drive all CONUS activities to increase their Force Protection Condition which will involve stricter access restrictions, increased levels of security, and increased readiness. SAFETY IS A PARAMOUNT CONCERN. Participating personnel and units have already been identified. Personnel not designated to actively participate are requested to make reports and notifications (ONLY) to the installation Security Department (202) 433-4201 or Emergency Dispatcher (202) 433-3333 or to their chain of command.
