PC Template – Project Motivation
Market requirements and competitiveness:
Improve performance and cost by standardize our SAP landscape in all production
centers in Europe
Generate synergies over all PCs by developing and rollout a Template based on “Pre
Set” approach
Develop set of performance indicators and reports to steer and improve the business
Secure the business:
SAP will discontinue the support for the current BDF ERP system 4.6 by end of 2012.
Technical maintenance and support for current ERP System will be cut back in
future
Increase of running cost, if BDF will stay with the current ERP System
PC Template is similar to PRIME project, but for EU-Production Center
Common platform and processes in each PC for future SC optimizations
at minimum cost
