prepared to be moved . . . We believe that pregnancy should be shared with other women & inhaled as a sacred experience. Pregnant women have an internal passageway to the womanly secrets of growing a child and as they transition from maiden to mother, they become wise in ways they may not have ever known lived inside them. This is a sacred sisterhood connection we all share as women. The Sacred Pregnancy movement will bring back these sisterhood traditions passing them on to one woman at a time. Our program: Level 1: Sacred Instructor of the 'Pregnancy Journey' + 'Birthing Journey'

Certification Courses Level 2: Sacred Visionary and is an additional training so that you can begin to

train the trainers...That will be a 2 day course. Level 3: Sacred Practioner and is an additional 4 day retreat that allows you to

be able to work very closely with Sacred Pregnancy National team to see the movement grow and will allow you to lead retreats.

Based on the book Sacred Pregnancy, we are very excited about now offering birthing educators the opportunity to be a part of our movement by becoming certified class instructors. We are dedicated to starting with one woman at a time, to help spread this movement into a new way of being pregnant. Our goal is to connect women together to deepen their pregnancy experiences to include discussions on meaningful topics that resonate with all pregnant women about to give birth and become mothers. You are a now a part of our community and we are so excited to have you. These classes are not like anything else out there and will give you a birthing educator edge because you will be a part of grass roots movement of change. This is an exciting time in the birthing world and we are bringing something fresh to the arena of pregnancy + birthing and if you are reading this flier perhaps you are meant to join us.

The following topics will be covered during the training for the Sacred Pregnancy

"Pregnancy Journey" classes

Based on the Sacred Pregnancy book, pregnant women will come together with the SP instructor for 8 weeks DURING pregnancy to be pregnant together, diving into the following topics...These are the topics we will be discussing in detail throughout the training. week one: Sacred Space: Journaling + Meditation + Creation of a personal Sacred

Space an introduction to the series + the power of sisterhood circles week two: Connection: The Baby + Expectations / Spirit Stick Creations

week three: Food: Mindful Eating + Cravings Party + Discussion on Body Image

week four: Partners: Romance (bring your partner to circle week) + Birth /

Relationship Art week five: The 3 F's: Fears + Forgiveness (creating a forgiveness tree) + Freedom

week six: Getting Ready: Emotional Nesting + Blessingway + Gender Discussionweek seven: Energy: earth / air / fire / water...how mother nature supports

pregnancy and birthing preparation week eight: Sisterhood: Nurturing + Adornment + Going to the Bowl

Based on the Sacred Pregnancy book, pregnant women + their partners will come together with the SP leader for an additional 4 weeks at the end of their pregnancies to deal with birthing + postpartum issues...those 4 weeks include: week one: Standing at The Edge: empowerment + visualization + understanding

what is happening to your body + understanding pregnancy tests + options+ how your partner can support you week two: Surrender: surge signs + empowered movement through surges (what

are they) + rebozo + aromatherapy + birth ball + focus + the power of music / choosing a birth song week three: Birth: bringing baby into the world + options + physical nesting + birth

planning + technical stuff week four: Rite of Passage: first quiet days with baby + postpartum tips + more

practical stuff including the restorative power of soup / the session ends with a community "Stone Soup" preparation and offering and sharing... In gratitude,

The details… The dates are Nov. 2 / 3 / 4 /5 at the beautiful natural environment of the Ojai Foundation... The accommodations are community style living in yurts and domes, a communal kitchen, & hot showers...so yep, we will get to know each other well. If you are coming from out of state or country, flying into LAX is the best choice as Ojai is only 60 min. from LA. There is also a shuttle service called Road Runner that can shuttle you there for around 90.00 each way. aromatherapy to help women with birthing comfort. Gena Kirby is a Doula, a childbirth educator, a La Leche League International Breastfeeding Peer Counselor, and a mother of three children under 7 years old. She serves on the Board of Directors of Attachment Parenting International and is the ex President of Texans for Midwifery, and is a member of the Central Texas Doula Association. She is also the founder of Austin Birth Advocates & is a member of numerous local advocacy groups. Lynn Wolf is a mother of two daughters, doula, childbirth educator, yoga instructor, marketing director for My Best Birth and The Business of Being Born, and a student nurse-midwife. She founded the Awesome Attachment Parenting Moms of Temecula Valley in 2006 and has previously served as co-representative for the California Association of Midwives.

Mary Oscategu, CBP [IABPP] CGP [IMI] Founder, CEO, and President International Maternity Institute International Academy of Baby Planner Professionals Will join us for a talk on green body green birth! Author of "The Baby Planner Profession: What You Need to Know! The Ultimate Guide and Resource for Baby Planner Professionals" Mary Oscategui is an international business consultant and holistic educator who specializes in maternal sleep, health, fitness, nutrition and green living. Additionally Mary also offers health and fitness services through Physical Awakening.com, a holistic integrative approach offering the services of yoga, meditation, pilates, fitness, and nutrition.Mary is a leader in educational development and has been consulting and guiding hundreds of clients for the last 17 years. She is the author of “The Baby Planner Profession: What You Need To Know! As a participant in the training, we will be asking you, the birthing educator to look deep within yourself during your journey and dig deep to find what moves you to do this work. Through the training we will offer you clear step-by-step ways to create a meaningful experience for pregnant mamas. After the training you will know how to lead both the 8 week "pregnancy journey" course + a 4 week "birth journey" course...You will be certified as an official Level 1 Sacred Pregnancy Class Instructor an will be able to start creating classes in your area and charging money for those classes. We know this is a business, but we want to move the business of pregnancy + birthing into a more sacred experience for women! As part of the Sacred Pregnancy community and being certified, we will fully support your efforts to create classes in your community. You are free to charge what you like for the courses, although we suggest $400. for the 8 week course and $200. for the 4 week birthing course. Sacred Pregnancy requires a registration fee for each class that you teach in your community of 10%.

Anni Daulter, is the author of Sacred Pregnancy and a conscious family living lifestyle expert. Daulter is a professional cook, national speaker on natural living and recently launched the new Sacred Pregnancy community and magazine along with Elena Rego, which provides sisterhood, resources, and cutting edge pregnancy, birthing and parenting information for both new and experienced moms. Anni developed the pregnancy journey + birth journey curriculums to bring forth to the birthing educator community. Anni is deeply committed to creating positive change in the pregnancy + birthing communities in an effort to bring back ancient traditions with a modern cutting edge application. Anni lives in deep gratitude for all of the blessings in her life. Aleksandra Evanguelidi, LM, CPM, has been a California Licensed Midwife and Certified Professional Midwife since July 2006. After she received her midwifery license Aleksandra co-founded a home birth practice and midwifery training program. Aleks has also been a nutritionist for the last 10 years and has spent many moons holding sacred space for women and couples during Blessing way ceremonies and wedding rituals. The work Aleks does as a spiritual counselor is interwoven into her unique style of midwifery. Aleksandra is passionately committed to bringing knowledge of self-care to families such that they experience radiant health and an empowered sense of self. Through her many years working with families, Aleks has seen the possibility of serving the larger community while providing products and services from some of the finest practitioners in the birth & wellness fields. Her vision for The Sanctuary Birth & Family Wellness Center is to create a new model of integrated care that meets the complex needs of today’s family.

Elena Rego Prolific writer and photographer and co-creator of Sacred Pregnancy.com. Elena is one of the primary photographers in the Sacred Pregnancy book.

Her work, which is deeply informed by her passion for women's spirituality and feminist theory, conveys the importance of engaging the spirit through making the mundane sacred and returning to the celebration of the rites of passages that mark our human lives. Her writings have been included in various women's periodicals, including FoodPractice.com and the online magazine SacredPregnancy.com. Elena's artwork and photography have been shown in various galleries in Southern California, and the upcoming book, Bountiful Baby Purees.

Christy Funk Owner of Belly Sprout, Orange County’s first natural parenting store and resource center. Eco-Beauty expert.

Her quest for natural living began 14 years ago and her passion is shared with her community at Belly Sprout, teaching, sharing and inspiring families to make healthier choices. As a professional makeup artist for over 15 years, Christy has been researching natural options for the last 10 years and is helping women not only make the switch but continues her artistry work with her clients. She offers information and tips on natural living for families on her Belly Sprout website and is in the works on another sight focusing on beauty and wellness. She shares a home with her husband and two boys, aged 6 and 8 in Orange County.

Gemma Stone, M.A., R.Psyc. Registered clinical psychologist, a mother, and the creator of the Birthing From Love project.

Gemma has studied and seeked and saturated her mind with knowledge & wisdom about the psychology of pregnancy & birth — because she wanted to find solutions. To heal herself — and others. Through her research & her own births , she developed the Birthing From Love philosophy & program. Gemma's focus is on the psychology of birth and how the mind can support the body in having a peaceful, positive, and powerful birth experience, no matter how it unfolds. By using the Birthing From Love approach Gemma has been able to help herself, and other women, have the most miraculous kind of birth experiences. Birthing From Love is offered as a live workshop, an online digital program, & a professional training program to help women & educators from all over the world deepen their understanding of the psychology of birth.

Krista Miracle is the Mother of 6, Doula, Childbirth Educator and Stage IV Cancer Survivor

She's the kind of woman you want on your side. A peaceful warrior, gentle soul and earth mama. Her ability to bring harmony to any situation is impressive and inspiring. Sacred is her calling, to impart in all women their faith in themselves, their bodies and most importantly their birth. Krista and her husband live in Southern California.
