BookendsThis May... two cousins, two young men, too smart for their own good will be two new graduates. The young 13 year old, my son Miles, will be graduating the 8th grade and keeping my fingers crossed will head to Jesuit High School this fall. The 21 year old Brent is Laurie’s son and he’s graduating college from Santa Clara University with a degree in mechanical engineering and already has a job! If only Miles can follow in Brent’s footsteps. A nice, cultured, always did the right thing, smart, respect-ful, handsome and ready to take on the real world Brent. He’s the son you always wanted. Good job Laurie. She’s not only a talented crafter, she’s the nurturing mom who will keep your children in line

and always there for you. Brent is lucky!!! And so is Paper Garden! I still remember Brent’s first job as a babysitter to Miles. Play-ing with Legos and catering to a toddlers needs… now that’s a perfect playdate topped with a cash payment. Both of you today are perfect role models!

This spring, look for celebrity guest designer Cindi Nelson who owns not one but three lines of stamps and the beautiful Impress Rubber Stamps store in Seattle, Washington! Please book early for her classes on May 3–4 for guaranteed space!

***a little tid bit about me, I have a lot of guilty pleasures. My customers sometimes ask me what I do when I’m not working, well, I always seem to be working... even at home! I love to watch and craft at the same time, 90 day fiancée, I love that show! I also love, Housewives of Beverly Hills, Dr. Pimple Popper and The Long Island Medium. I’ve watched every episode!
