Rotary Carols at Leeds Minster supporting the new Leeds Food Bank initiative. On Friday 6 December Leeds Minster will play host to a carol service in aid of “Leeds Food Banks” beginning at 7pm. Rotary Clubs in Leeds have joined forces to support the new Food Bank initiative in Leeds.Start the festive season with all your favourite carols in the wonderful surroundings of Leeds Minster. Rather than paying an entry price participants are asked to “Bring a Tin to get in”. A shopping list of items has be compiled of food items much needed by the newly formed Food Banks which includes: UHT or powdered milk; sugar; soup; pasta sauces; tinned tomatoes; cereals; tinned rice pudding; tea bags and instant coffee; instant mash potato; rice or pasta; tinned meat or fish; tinned vegetables; tinned fruit; jam; biscuits. A retiring collection will be taken for Leeds Food Banks and Leeds Minster.TRANSCRIPT
