Summary:

Intro:Roots/Revival• We have assumed the pillar of the new identity to be designed/created would be: Tradition brought back to the viewer/listener.• We have assumed that the second pillar of this new identity will be authenticity.• Event though we know that there is no such thing as “unique” ethnic

model/pattern we can safely presume that traditionally sewn models represent the connection with “roots”, “tradition”, “beauty” and “authentic”.

*Traditional models such as the spirals, the rhombus have travelled far and wide and can be seen throughout the world heritage.

Proposed patterns:

- The column (almost the single one type of model that can be called the OLDEST local

symbol. Signifies the continuity of generations, signifies roots & heritage.

- Spirals: they signify strength, resilience, and are universally understood as such. - The rombus: signifies the land. The earth. Sustenance and fertility. - The “longer” path: usually a decorative motif, signifies immortality, transcendence.
