The popular belief is that they mostly stay at home and look after the householdand those in the urban sectors out for jobs are not in touch with the environment anyway. Thetruth, however, is different. If every household starts doing it, it would be a great step towards improving theenvironment, not to mention improving the economy as well.

Women also use a lot of water in the kitchen and in other daily activities like washing andcleaning. If they could be made aware about how to reduce wastage of water, it would be acrucial step towards mitigating water problems in most regions.
