In a bid to revitalise & stimulate the growth of the sheriessector & allied industries, government has taken a bolddecision by approving an outlay of Rs 3, crore for the

inclusive development and management of sheries sector!

Fiinovation contemplates that through this investmentgovernment seeks to bring the "blue revolution in thecountry"!

Fiinovation believes that the central scheme is said tobenet the entire sheries sector covering about #$!%million shermen!

It will be implemented in all the states and the unionterritories focusing on increasing production andproductivity from auaculture and sheries resources, bothinland and marine! It seeks to boost private investment as

well!

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Aairs (CCEA)has given its nod for implementation of an umbrella schemefor integrated development and management of sheries atan outlay of Rs 3, crore for a period of ve years!

Fiinovationhighligths that the scheme would coverdevelopment and management of inland sheries,auaculture, marine sheries including deep sea shing,

mariculture and all activities undertaken by the 'ationalFisheries Development (oard )'FD(* towards realising "(lueRevolution"!

their livelihood, health, education to ensuring their safetyand security!
