Resident Management System (RMS) is Java based web application for managing data of residents (Owners & Tenants) in apartments or societies.

It helps property manager/ committee member to store & retrieve data of all residents efficiently.

It has facility to download data in excel sheet as well as to obtain email addresses of owners at single click.

This is the very first release of RMS which addresses primary functionalities. Based on the requirements, more functionalities like online notice board, vendor list maintenance, AMC maintenance, Car pooling logistic, opinion polls etc. can be addressed.

We can also deploy this application on cloud and then it can be accessed from internet (if you desire to give access of this application directly to owners residing outside of country).

There are portals available in the market, which does similar work and provides various facilities for almost no charge. However, catch is that, you have to hand over data of all residents to them which will reside on their server.

This may result in security risk as well as spams. Also, if company runs out of business you will loose all your data as you will

have very little control over the same. In contrast RMS is home grown web application, residing on your own office

machine with all data along with it. You will have complete control over the functional and data aspects of the same. A lot more customization is possible based on your need and application can be maintained by your own members once deployed initially. Alternatively, we can deploy the application and take care of maintenance of the same.

Many societies maintain there data in excel but then it has overhead of version management and collaboration needs. Also, your manager has to know excel well to manage data effectively. RMS is handy in the sense it is equally useful for people who know or do not know excel, its UI (User interface) being simple and intuitive.

* Note that in this RMS release, no user authentication is provided. This is with the understanding that end resident will not have access to update system and only office manager will be maintaining the data, this application being strictly for internal use.

Obtain search results (owner/ tenant) and export them to excel (This can be used for backing up data as well)

If you want to use application as – is1. We will come to your office and install tomcat server & My SQL database. We will

deploy and configure RMS1.0 on your office machine.2. If you are maintaining the data in excel, we can import the data directly into

MYSQL database. (We will have to take care of data integrity by facilitating mandatory fields.)

3. We will provide training about how to use this application and how to maintain it going forward.

4. We can also provide services for taking back up or train your resources to back up the data.
