The East Lancashire Railway runs from Bury to Heywood and Rawtenstall every weekend throughout the year, and from Wednesday to Sunday between April and September.

Rochdale or Rossendale. Where requested, applicants must provide the The East Lancashire Light Railway Company with proof of address, prior to issue of the permit, the acceptability of which is at the discretion of The East Lancashire Light Railway Company officials.

• The permit is for the use of the named holder only and is non-transferable. • The permit is only valid with a reduced travel fare ticket (single and return) on

all scheduled ELR passenger services, unless otherwise advertised. Up to four children (up to and including children aged 15 years) accompanying a permit holder may travel at the discounted concessionary fare.

• The permits are not valid for discounts on rover or event tickets, platform tickets, any Diner service or in conjunction with ELRPS members’ discounted fares or any other reduced rate travel scheme.
