We do our homework: More problems result from the lack of due diligence. We establish the lines of communication early with all of the involved. We use checklists to make sure we don't miss crucial items. We double check. We know building codes and local regulations, and we have history of working well with building officials early and often. We share our homework with you, and keep you in the loop. We are firm but fair: We believe that the short term gains achieved by exploiting a particular situation will not be of benefit in the long run. We maintain a reputation of impeccable ethics, and we believe that our clients benefit because of it. We are firm but flexible: Many design professionals' egos get in their way. They believe that their designs are the be all and end all of a project and they are resistant to any changes, no matter what the circumstances or the merit. We believe that our designs are strong enough to accommodate and anticipate changes made by the team. Valuable contributions can and are made by others, such as the contractor and you, the homeowner, for the benefit of the project; and strong communication is the only way to get the best out of others. Communication in architecture is visual too! Not everyone can understand floor plans. We use Revit and other software that allows us to quickly show you three dimensional images of the inside and outside of your facility as it develops.

We listen: Your home is reflection of you, in order to execute your vision we will meet with you, listen to what you say, send you written confirmation of what was discussed in a timely manner, and transform that information into an space that is appropriate to what you require, not what we want to do. We question: In order to effectively design your space we need to get a sense of your goals and hopes for your space. As your architects, it is our job to respectfully point out that there may be a better or more effective conclusion for you to consider, or result of that information that is better suited to the successful execution of the project.
