About the Investigational Medication The investigational medication, rovalpituzumab tesirine (Rova-T), is being developed to specifically target small cell lung cancer. It is being evaluated to see if it may treat the cancer cells while having fewer side effects on healthy cells and, if successful, provide an alternative treatment option following your initial chemotherapy. If you are eligible and decide to participate in one of the Rova-T Research Studies, you will receive study medication and all study-related care at no extra cost. Rovalpituzumab tesirine (Rova-T) is an investigational drug which has not been approved by regulatory agencies. Efficacy and safety have not been established. Two research studies evaluating the same investigational medication in patients with small cell lung cancer following initial chemotherapy. RESEARCH STUDIES FOR SMALL CELL LUNG CANCER MERU STUDY The MERU Study is evaluating the investigational medication as maintenance therapy for patients who have had a successful response to initial chemotherapy. TAHOE STUDY The TAHOE Study is comparing the investigational medication to the standard second round chemotherapy for patients whose small cell lung cancer has worsened during or after their first round of chemotherapy. Below are questions for you and your doctor to consider when talking about participation in these research studies. Is a research study for Rova-T a potential option for me? What support will be available for my family members and me during the study? What are the potential risks and benefits of participating in a research study? Will I be able to take my regular medications while in the study? A15462625
