CREATION OF AN EXCELLENCE CENTER OF TRANWAYS IN SPAIN


La división de Alstom España ha sido seleccionada para

dirigir e implementar los proyectos de señalización del

Grupo en todo el mundo

Alstom España cuenta con más de 200 técnicos e ingenieros

dedicados a desarrollar e implementar soluciones de señalización y

seguridad ferroviaria. La decisión de localizar en España el centro

de desarrollo tecnológico e ingeniería para todos los contratos

internacionales de señalización tranviaria supondrá la creación de

100 nuevos empleos directos adicionales y de alta cualificación.

“La capacidad exportadora de Alstom España, junto con lasreferencias de proyectos nacionales e internacionales, han sidoclave para elegir esta unidad de señalización como centro dereferencia para todos los proyectos de tranvía que realiza Alstom anivel mundial”, destaca nuestro Director General de la división de

señalización de Alstom España.

Con más de 60 años de presencia en nuestro país, los equipos de

señalización de Alstom en España han implementado proyectos

emblemáticos a nivel nacional, como el enclavamiento de

Chamartín (el mayor de Adif en todo el territorio), el sistema de

señalización ERTMS (el que se utiliza en alta velocidad) para

cercanías, la implementación del tercer carril para su aplicación

en el Corredor Mediterráneo o la instalación de la última

tecnología de señalización ERTMS Nivel 2 para la alta velocidad,

sistema único en España.”El laboratorio tecnológico ubicado en

Madrid dirige proyectos innovadores tanto para el mercado

nacional como para la exportación. Entre estos últimos, se

pueden señalar los sistemas de señalización tranviaria en Orán,

Constantine y Jerusalén; o la implementación de un sistema

ERTMS entre las localidades de Eskisehir y Balikesir, un corredor

de 328km situado al norte de Turquía.
