RASHTRIYA KRISHI VIKAS YOJANA (RKVY)

Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY) is an additional central assistance scheme intended for holisticdevelopment of Agriculture and Allied Sectors. The funding pattern under RKVY is 60:40 (Central: State).

Agriculture, Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU), Horticulture, Dr. YSR HorticulturalUniversity, Sericulture, Animal Husbandry, A.P. Dairy Development Corporation Ltd., Fisheries, SriVenkateswara Veterinary University, A.P. State Seed Certification Agency, A.P. Food Processing Society, A.P.MARKFED, APSAIDC Ltd.

Implementation Mechanism:

� State Level Sanctioning Committee (SLSC) under the Chairmanship Chief Secretary with Prl.Secretary (Agril.) as Member Secretary was constituted to sanction project proposals under RKVY.

� Department of Agriculture is the Nodal Department.

Status under RKVY during 2016-17

� Govt. of India has allocated an amount of Rs. 345.64 Crores for implementation of various projects ofdifferent sectors under Normal RKVY and Rs. 15.75 Crores for sub scheme i.e., Crop Diversificationprogramme during 2016-17.

� Normal RKVY : Rs. 345.64 Crores.

� Sub scheme : Rs. 15.75 Crores

� Total Rs. 361.39 Crores.

� An amount of Rs. 361.39 Crores has been released during 2016-17 for implementing normal RKVYand sub scheme i.e. Crop Diversification programme.

� An amount of Rs. 219.45 crores has been incurred by different sectors during 2016-17. The 2nd

installment amount is released at the fag end of the year i.e. March, 2017.

Action plan 2017-18

� The Govt. of India is yet to communicate the State allocation under RKVY for the year 2017-18.

� Anticipation higher allocations, different sectors have proposed projects with an outlay of Rs. 909.67Crores during 2017-18 as detailed below:
