For this Photoshop project, I was asked to add fi ctitious retail tenants to three photos of a building in order to illustrate what this corner could look like.
Before I could edit in the tenants, I needed to fi rst stitch together a few photos to make two panoramic views of the building.
These photos represent my fi nished product.
Chicagoan Rendering

Here are the four original photos I used to make the fi rst panorama, followed by the stitched-together image that I eventually rendered as Montre Tour and Nice.
The second panorama followed a similar process, although only two photos had been provided. This corner property became “Nice” on the new rendering.

I was asked to make the storefronts look like specifi c retailers; I couldn’t use their actual logos, so I created parody logos. This was my favorite part of the project.
After making this logo, I was informed that the real Potbelly logo was cleared to be used in the fi nal rendering.

Map IconsThis was another fun job—creating 20 place icons for maps. I drew them all from scratch in Adobe Illustrator, and the categories were given to me by my employer.

Floor Plans & Site PlansThese are fl oor plans and site plans I was asked to reproduce and simplify. I traced them in Adobe Illustrator to make the plans more readable, easier to understand, and completely vector art.

For this project, I was given the two plans below. I traced the fi rst plan in Illustrator, then overlaid it on an aerial of the site, using the second plan as a guide.
Below is the fi nished product. The site plan was made in Adobe Illustrator, and the aerialwas made using MapInfo.

Love Elgin Day Website BannerAs part of my volunteer work, I edited and prepared images to be used in the sliding banner on the front page of Love Elgin Day’s previous website. An example of one of the images is below.

The Radical Wedding of Alec & RachelThis is a logo I made for my wedding; my husband and I had a lot of fun building our big event on a quirky theme of ‘80s futurism. I used this logo on our invitations, wedding programs, signage, and other pieces.
With ‘80s futurism for inspiration, I created our Save the Date cards using Photoshop for everything except “August 13, 2016,” which I made in Illustrator.

Business Animals
Maneki Neko
These are business animals I drew in Illustrator for a group project in college. We were taking part in Global Game Jam, an event which gave us only 48 hours to make a video game. A team member sketched a few business animals, and I followed his style to create the eight below.
I made this in Adobe Illustrator using the gradient mesh tool. It’s 100% vector art.

Hat Product DesignThe assignment was to design products based on characters created by my professor. For my product line I chose hats, using Photoshop to design each concept, add texture, and show what the hat could look like on someone’s head.

Upright Organics PosterThis was part of a college group project to advertise a fi ctitious grocery store. I designed and constructed the entire poster in Illustrator; the logo was made by someone else.
