Quick Start

DataTraveler® II Plus - Migo Edition (DTII+Migo)For hardware installation, please refer to the hardware installation instructions included with the DTII+Migo.

Email: Microsoft Outlook (2000, 2002, 2003, and 2007 with POP/SMTP and Exchange Server)*, Outlook Express (5.0 and above), Windows Mail, and Mozilla Thunderbird 1.5

Web Browser: Windows Internet Explorer (5.0 and above) and Mozilla Firefox (1.5 and above)

* Remote Systems require VPN connection

Creating Migo Profile(s)

Insert the DTII+Migo into the computer’s USB port.1.

The DTII+Migo will appear in My Computer (Computer in Vista) as Kingston 2. (Removable Disk in Windows 2000). Double-click on the Kingston drive to access the Migo application.

Double-click the Migo executable icon (Figure 1) to launch Migo. 3.

After the Migo files extract to your computer, Migo will prompt you to create a 4. nickname for your Migo profile (Figure 2).

Click 5. Add New Profile to launch the Migo Profile Wizard.

You can include your Internet Home Page, Favorites, and other Internet settings 6. into your Migo profile by selecting, “Include my Browser settings…” Place a checkmark next to the available Browser(s) (e.g. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox) you would like to synchronize into your Migo Profile. (Figure 3).

Click 7. NEXT to continue.

Next you will select e-mail client(s) for synchronization. Place a checkmark next 8. to the e-mail programs (Figure 4) you would like to synchronize (e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Mozilla Thunderbird, Universal Mail*). Click NEXT to configure your E-mail settings.

* View the Migo Help File via the Migo application for additional information on Universal Mail Format.

TIP

Helpful Hints are available via the right side of the Migo Wizard.

To include all Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express and/ or Mozilla Thunderbird - 9. Inbox, Drafts, Sent, etc., items into your Migo Profile, select “Take it all.” If you prefer to synchronize items created within a specific time frame, select “I want to limit the ___ items…” Click on the dropdown arrows to select a time frame for each item (Figure 5).

Note: If you have chosen to limit the mail items, removing the checkmark displayed next to an item will remove it from Synchronization.

Click10. NEXT to continue.

Now you will configure your data files for synchronization (Figure 6). To include 11. all of the files located on your Desktop and in your My Documents folder, select “Include my entire “Desktop” and “My Documents” folders.” If selected, you will be given the option to “Exclude “My Music”, “My Videos”, “My Pictures” Folders.”

Note: The “Exclude “My Music”, “My Videos”, “My Pictures” Folders” option is not supported in Windows Vista.

If you prefer to synchronize items created or altered within a specific time frame, 12. select “I want to limit the files and folders…” Click on the dropdown arrows to select a time frame for each item.

Note: If you have chosen to limit the files and folders, removing the checkmark displayed next to an item will remove it from Synchronization.

Click 13. FINISH to synchronize the files and folders, internet settings, and e-mail items onto the DTII+Migo.

Login to your Migo Profile on a Guest Computer

Insert the DTII+Migo into an available USB port.1.

The DTII+Migo will appear in My Computer (Computer in Vista) as Kingston 2. (Removable Disk in Windows 2000). Double-click on Kingston to access the Migo application.

Double-click Migo.exe to launch Migo. 3.

TIP

The My Storage Tank on the right side of the wizard displays available and used space, and space required for files to be synchronized. As you add files for synchronization, the My Storage Tank will automatically adjust. If the tank turns red, step back and select fewer files for synchronization.

The Migo Tab will appear at the top of the Desktop (Figure 7). Click on the Migo 4. Profile (Desktop) picture to login to your Migo Profile.

Once the Migo Profile loads, you can work on your files and e-mails just as you 5. would on your home computer.

Click on the Migo Tab or click the Logout button found on the Taskbar to logout of 6. the Migo Profile (Figure 8).

Synchronize Your Data with your Home Computer Insert the DTII+Migo into an available USB port.1.

The DTI+Migo will appear in My Computer (Computer in Vista) as Kingston 2. (Removable Disk in Windows 2000). Double-click on the Kingston drive to access the Migo application.

Double-click Migo.exe to launch Migo. 3.

A “Your Profile Has Changed” window will appear (Figure 9). 4.

Click 5. SYNCHRONIZE NOW to update your home computer with the changes made to the files and e-mails in your Migo Profile.

Once synchronization is complete, a Migo Message will appear with a 6. confirmation.

Para incluir todos los elementos de Entrada, Borrador, Enviados, etc. de Microsoft 9. Outlook, Outlook Express y/o Mozilla Thunderbird en su Perfil de Migo, seleccione “Seleccionar todo”. Si desea sincronizar elementos creados dentro de unos límites de tiempo específicos, seleccione “Deseo limitar los elementos …”. Haga clic en el menú desplegable para seleccionar un límite temporal para cada elemento (Figura 5).

Nota: Si ha elegido limitar los elementos de correo, cuando elimina la marca de verificación que aparece al lado de un elemento, éste no se incluye en la sincronización.

6. Haga clic en la pestaña de Migo o en el botón de Desconexión que encontrará en la Barra de tareas para salir del perfil de Migo (Figura 8).

CONSEJO

El depósito de “Mialmacenamiento” situado a la derecha indica el espaciodisponible y el utilizado, así comoel espacio necesario para lasincronización del archivo. Cuandose añaden archivos parasincronizar, el depósito de “Mialmacenamiento” se ajustaautomáticamente. Si el depósitocambia a color rojo, vuelva atrás yseleccione menos archivos parasincronizar.

Una vez que se ha cargado el perfil de Migo, puede trabajar con sus archivos y 5. correos electrónicos de la misma manera que en el ordenador de su casa.

Haga clic en la pestaña de Migo o en el botón de Desconexión que encontrará en 6. la Barra de tareas para salir del perfil de Migo (Figura 8).

Erstellen von Migo-Profilen Verbinden Sie den DTM mit dem USB-Anschluss des Computers.1.

Erstellen von Migo-Profilen

Si vous préférez synchroniser les courriers créés dans un intervalle de temps particulier, sélectionnez « Je veux limiter les éléments… ». Cliquez sur la flèche de la liste déroulante de chaque type de courrier pour sélectionner un intervalle de temps (figure 5).

Remarque : si vous avez choisi de limiter le nombre de courriers, décochez tout simplement la case d’un type de courrier particulier pour ne pas l’inclure dans la synchronisation.

Vous allez à présent configurer vos fichiers de données pour la synchronisation 11. (figure 6). Pour inclure tous les fichiers situés sur votre Bureau et dans le dossier Mes documents, sélectionnez « Inclure l’intégralité des dossiers ‘Bureau’ et ‘Mes documents’ ». Vous avez alors la possibilité d’utiliser l’option « Excluez des dossiers ‘ Ma musique ’, ‘ Mes videos ’ et ‘ mes images ’ ».

Remarque : l’option « Excluez des dossiers ‘ Ma musique ’, ‘ Mes videos ’ et ‘ mes images ’ » n’est pas prise en charge sous Windows Vista.

Si vous souhaitez uniquement synchroniser les fichiers créés ou modifiés dans un 12. intervalle de temps particulier, sélectionnez « Je veux limiter le nombre… ». Cliquez sur la flèche de la liste déroulante de chaque type de fichier pour sélectionner un intervalle de temps.

Remarque : si vous avez choisi de limiter le nombre de fichiers et de dossiers, décochez tout simplement la case d’un type de fichier particulier pour ne pas l’inclure dans la synchronisation.

Si vous préférez synchroniser les courriers créés dans un intervalle de temps particulier, sélectionnez « Je veux limiter les éléments… ». Cliquez sur la flèche de la liste déroulante de chaque type de courrier pour sélectionner un intervalle de temps (figure 5).

Remarque : si vous avez choisi de limiter le nombre de courriers, décochez tout simplement la case d'un type de courrier particulier pour ne pas l'inclure dans la synchronisation.



11. Vous allez à présent configurer vos fichiers de données pour la synchronisation (figure 6). Pour inclure tous les fichiers situés sur votre Bureau et dans le dossier Mes documents, sélectionnez « Inclure l’intégralité des dossiers ‘Bureau’ et ‘Mes documents’ ». Vous avez alors la possibilité d'utiliser l'option « Excluez des dossiers ‘ Ma musique ’, ‘ Mes videos ’ et ‘ mes images ’ ».

Remarque : l'option « Excluez des dossiers ‘ Ma musique ’, ‘ Mes videos ’ et ‘ mes images ’ » n'est pas prise en charge sous Windows Vista.

12. Si vous souhaitez uniquement synchroniser les fichiers créés ou modifiés dans un intervalle de temps particulier, sélectionnez « Je veux limiter le nombre… ». Cliquez sur la flèche de la liste déroulante de chaque type de fichier pour sélectionner un intervalle de temps.

Remarque : si vous avez choisi de limiter le nombre de fichiers et de dossiers, décochez tout simplement la case d'un type de fichier particulier pour ne pas l'inclure dans la synchronisation.



13. Cliquez sur TERMINER pour synchroniser les fichiers et les dossiers, les paramètres Internet ainsi que les courriers sur le DTII+M.


1. Connectez le DTII+M à un port USB disponible.

2. DTII+M s'affiche dans Poste de travail sous le nom Kingston (disque amovible sous Windows 2000). Double-cliquez sur Kingston afin d'accéder à l'application Migo.

3. Double-cliquez sur Migo.exe pour lancer Migo.

4. L'onglet Migo s'affiche en haut du Bureau (figure 7). Cliquez sur l'image du profil Migo (Bureau) pour vous connecter à votre profil Migo.

6. Pour quitter le profil Migo, cliquez sur l'onglet Migo ou sur le bouton « déconnecter » situé sur la barre des tâches (figure 8).

Opmerking: Als u de mailitems wilt beperken, verwijdert u het vinkje naast een item om te voorkomen dat het wordt meegenomen in de synchronisatie.

Nu configureert u uw gegevensbestanden voor de synchronisatie (afbeelding 6). 11. Selecteer de opties “Include my entire “Desktop” en “My Documents” folders” om alle bestanden van het bureaublad en uit de map Mijn documenten op te nemen. Indien geselecteerd, krijgt u de volgende optie: “Exclude “My Music”, “My Videos”, “My Pictures” Folders.”

Tworzenie profili Migo

Włóż DTII+M do portu USB komputera.1.

Для того чтобы включить все элементы Microsoft Outlook, Outlook 9. Теперь нужно настроить файлы данных для синхронизации (рис. 6). Для 11. того чтобы синхронизировать все файлы, расположенные на рабочем столе и в папке Мои документы, отметьте опцию «Включить весь рабочий стол и всю папку “Мои документы”». Если вы выберете эту опцию, у вас появится возможность снять отметку с поля «Исключить папки “Моя музыка“, “Мое видео” и “Мои рисунки.”

Примечание: опция «Исключить папки “Моя музыка”, “Мое видео” и “Мои рисунки”» не поддерживаются в Windows Vista.

Если вы хотите синхронизировать только элементы, созданные или 12. измененные за определенный период времени, отметьте опцию «Ограничить файлы и папки…» и выберите нужные периоды времени для всех видов элементов с помощью кнопок со стрелками (рис. 5).
