NOTIFICATION OF SCHOOL COUNCILS APPROVED UNDER THE EDUCATION (GENERAL PROVISIONS) ACT 2006

The Currumbin State School Council was established andapproved on Monday 17 July 2017 by the Principal, CurrumbinState School (as delegate of the Chief Executive, Department ofEducation and Training to approve the school council) underthe Education (General Provisions) Act 2006 to take effect fromthe date of gazettal.


The Deebing Heights State School Council was established andapproved on 12 July 2017 by the Principal, Deebing HeightsState School (as delegate of the Chief Executive, Department ofEducation and Training to approve the school council) underthe Education (General Provisions) Act 2006 to take effect fromthe date of gazettal.

UNDER THE SUSTAINABLE PLANNING ACT 2009

A Ministerial designation has been madeI, the Honourable Mark Ryan, Minister for Police, Fire and EmergencyServices and Minister for Corrective Services, give notice that underthe Sustainable Planning Act 2009 chapter 5, I made a Ministerialdesignation of land for community infrastructure on 12 July 2017.

The designation will take effect from 21 July 2017.

Description of the land to which the designation appliesThe Ministerial designation applies to land located at 28-36George Street, Cambooya, Queensland 4358 and is described aspart of Lots 6 and 7 on RP13869 (Leases A and B on SP277126).

Type of community infrastructure for which the land has beendesignatedThe land has been designated to allow for the redevelopment ofthe Cambooya Rural Fire Brigade facility and associated facilitieson the site.

This community infrastructure is described under the SustainablePlanning Regulation 2009 , Schedule 2 Part 2 as–(7) emergency services facilities;(15) storage and works depots and similar facilities, including

administrative facilities associated with the provision ormaintenance of the community infrastructure mentioned inthis part;

(16) any other facility not mentioned in this part that is intendedprimarily to accommodate government functions.

Matters included as part of the designation under the SustainablePlanning Act 2009 , section 207The designation for community infrastructure is made subjectto the following requirements –

This community infrastructure is described under the SustainablePlanning Regulation 2009 , Schedule 2 Part 2 as–(7) emergency services facilities;(15) storage and works depots and similar facilities, including

OVERDUE RATES OR CHARGES

Toowoomba Regional Council has decided to sell the landdescribed below because overdue rates have remained unpaidfor more than 3 years.

This is a summary of a notice of intention to sell land issuedpursuant to section 140 of the Local Government Regulation 2012.

Full description of the Land

Interest has accrued on the overdue rates from the date theybecame overdue at the rate of 10% per annum, 6 monthly inarrears, calculated and charged half yearly.

The total of the overdue rates and charges is: $3,990.42

The accrued interest to the date of this notice is: $756.43

The total overdue to Council as at 21 July 2017 is: $4,746.85
