PUNA KAI SHOPPING CENTER

The Puna Kai Shopping Center is the Big Island's newest shopping center in one of the fastest growing parts of Hawaii. The Project is located just south of the Pahoa Village Road & Kahakai Blvd. intersection in the town of Distric of PunaPahoa, Hawaii. Upon ccompletion, the Center will be approximately 103,600 sf and anchored by a new 35,000 sf Malama Market (a Sullivan/Foodland company).

The owner is preparing to commence on and off -site work for delivery of the pad site to Malama as well as the other common area improvements. Other envisioned improvements for the Project are a fuel station/c-store, national fast food drive-thru, various soft-good retailers, local proprietors and pads for sit-down restaurants and quick-serve/drive thru restaurants. The site plan approved by the County and the Puna Design Review Committee are attached.
