and refresh the festival bringing excitement forall ages. With an increased support from thelocal community we bring to you a new era inthe Kernewek Lowender and a festival that issure to please.The three towns of Kadina, Moonta and

Wallaroo have embraced the spirit to deliver afestive feel and celebration of the region’ssignificant Cornish heritage throughout theCopper Triangle.Our continued partnerships with Drakes

Foodland and the Moonta ProgressAssociation will once again stage the DrakesFoodland Moonta Parade and Street Party onFriday 19th May, featuring the Procession,Maypole and Furry Dancing, the giant PastyBake-Off, and the Official Welcome in QueenSquare.The Wallaroo Shores Village Fair will be held in Kadina on the Saturday 20th May. A new

sponsoring partnership with development company Wallaroo Shores is an exciting move forwardfor the festival and town developments. There will be markets held by the Northern YorkePeninsula Rotary Club, over 100 market stalls to roam, discover and enjoy. The Wallaroo ShoresVillage Fair events will this year return to where it began throughout the CBD Shopping Precinct.You’ll be entertained by the Cousin Jack and Jenny competition, Maypole and Furry Dancing plusplenty of singing and dancing performances to entertain all ages.Sunday will see the three towns come alive with excitement as the streets are filled and the

RAA Rosewarnes Classic Cavalcade of Cars ventures from Wallaroo through to Moonta andfinishing at Kadina, kicking off the Cavalcade Fun Fair with rock n roll entertainment, stalls andpresentations.With a record amount of Associated Activities listed in the program, there is something for

Coast Cornish Festival.

This year’s program is set to be a hugesuccess, attracting about 40,000 people fromSouth Australia, interstate and overseas. Withsomething for everyone, this traditional Cornishfestival involves the entire Copper Coastcommunity with maypole dancing, ceremonies,costumes, parades, music and much more. It isproudly supported by the State Government.

I encourage all visitors to South Australia toget out and about and enjoy our stunningregions which have undoubtedly some of thecountry’s best food and wine.

We also have thousands of kilometers ofcoastline in South Australia with no shortage of things to see and do. South Australia is thrivingwith a variety of award winning major events and festivals - contributing to us being named as aTop 5 Region in the world to visit in Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel guide for 2017. South Australiawas also named Australia’s Best Events State for the second consecutive year.

Whether you are here from interstate or overseas, or a local exploring your own backyard,South Australia offers an exciting range of experiences from the Outback to the beach andeverything in between.
