DUCATOON PARKDucatoon Park is a leading thoroughbred breeding centre in South Australia. Visitors to Ducatoon Park get to see a working horse stud first hand and may even get the chance to cuddle a newborn foal (depending on the time of the year). If you do wish to visit Ducatoon Park, please make sure to call ahead and make an appointment.

SPLASH TOWNSplash Town is the Copper Coast’s fun water park, located by the foreshore at Moonta Bay. This free water play area has plenty to keep you entertained, with plenty of slides, mushrooms and a large tipping water bucket. Splash Town is open from the 1 Oct to the end of April every year.

MOONTA BAY JETTYThe long 'L' shaped jetty is well worth the visit be it for a jetty stroll, to view the sunset or for a spot of fishing. Attached to the jetty is a fully enclosed swimming area. On the south side of the jetty the beach expands all the way to Port Hughes

PORT HUGHES JETTYThe Port Hughes Jetty is one of the most popular year-round fishing spots on Yorke Peninsula. Blue swimmer crabs, tommy ruff, garfish and squid are the regular fare. If you enjoy walking you can walk from the Port Hughes Jetty along the foreshore and beach all the way to the Moonta Bay Jetty.

The Moonta Mines Railway is a guided tour of the historic Moonta Mines State Heritage Area.Featuring extensive commentary from local drivers, passengers are taken past many historic landmarks of the former mining operations, including the reservoir, ore sorting floors, and through a tunnel in Ryans Tailings Heap.

At the Farm Shed Museum interpretive displays bring together the farming stories that have been growing for the last 50 years. Yorke Peninsula is renowned for its innovation in dryland farming machinery and techniques. The Farm Shed is open 7 days a week.

The large nautical complex at the museum is home to one of the most popular attractions, George the Giant Squid, a deep ocean dwelling squid, obtained from the stomach of the whale in 1980 and is now preserved in formalin. This museum is must stop for fans of history and local attractions.
