5.Ensurethatthebridgeiscenteredintheadjustingslot.Backoffthelevelingscrewsandinjectorbarrelsothebridgefirmlyaffixestothewindshieldwithoutinterference.

> 8.Screwdowntheinjectorbarreluntilitjusttouchestheglass.Advancethelevelingscrews2fullturns.Thenadvancetheinjectorbarrel1/2turnmore.Removeinjectionplungerfromtube.

3.Cleantheimpactpointorpitwithasteelprobe.Thisdislodgesanylooseglassparticles.

6.Pushtheflipleverdowntolockthebridgeinplace.Centertheinjectorbarreloverthepit.Makeanyadjustmentsnecessarybylooseningtheadjustingnut.

Glass temperature must be between +70˚F and + 100˚F

14. Applyaslightamountofpressuretotheinjectorplunger.Theplungershouldnotmovemorethan1/16”down.DO NOT bot-tom out the plunger as this could crack the windshield. Leaveinfirstpressurecyclefor5minutes.

15. First30secondvacuumcycle.Holdbarrelwithoffhand,pullbackwithotherhand,rotate1/4turnclockwiseandlockintoplace.

Basic Cycles to Complete a Repair1.Firstpressurecycle:5minues2.Firstvacuumcycle:30seconds3:Secondpressurecycle:2minutes4.Secondvacuumcycle:30seconds5.Thirdpressurecycle:2minutes

Always end on a pressure cycle. Mostrepairswillrequirebetween2and4totalcyclestoremoveallair.Theprocessiscompletedwhennoairremainsinthebreak.

13.Beginyourfirstpressurecycle.Holdbarrelwithoffhand,pullbackonplungerwithotherhand,rotate1/4turnclockwise,andgentlylowerintoplace.

11.Puttheinjectorplungerinthevacuumposition.Pullbackontheknob,rotate1/4turnclockwise,andlockinplace.Ensurethatthepistonisretracted.

12.Screwinjectorplungeruntilitstops.DONOTovertighten.

10.Makesureyougettheresintothebottomoftheinjectorbarrel.Thewhiteendsealmustbefilledwithresinforasuccessfulrepair.

9.Loadtheinjectorwith1syringeoffillresin.

17.Applyadropofpitresinjustbelowthepit.Squeezetheresinoutslowlyandmakesuretherearenoairbubbles.Useastraightpintopopanyairbubbles.

< 19.PlaceUVlightoverbreakandleavefor5minutes.Thenbreaksuctionbygentlyliftingedgesofsuctioncups.Therearesmalltabsoneachsuctioncupforthispurpose.

16.Fliplockingleveruptoreleasevacuumcup.Gentlypryvacuumcupfromglasstobreaksuction.DONOTpullonbridgeasthismaydamagethevacuumcupand/orwindshield.

20.Holdnewrazorata90˚angleandscraperesinflush.Usefirm,long,faststrokes.DO NOT stop over the pit area as this can pop the resin cap from the filled pit.

Crackafterremovalofpitresinandcuringtabbutbeforepolishingresin

18.Gentlylaythecuringtabinplace.Donotpushonthetabasthiscanforceresinoutofthepit.Thegoalistohaveadomeofresinoverthepitwhichwillbescrapedflush.

21.Applyadropofpitpolishtoshinethefinishedpit.Usearazorcovertopolishthepit.Youmayalsousearag,towelorcorktopolishthepit.Wipeclean.

22.Thefinishedrepairisflushandhasnoairremaininginthebreak.Arepairedchipwillnotdisappearbutwillleaveasmallscar.
