Johannesburg, MIdrand. Jan. 2015- “Oops I Forgot To Turn Off My Brain” or as it shall
soon be well known and savoured OF2TOMB is the latest and yet greatest creation of
producer, composer, beat maker, co-founder of the Music Mechanics, and emcee
Bertrum Joshua. After months in creation the art architect engineered songs contained
in a vessel that personifies the soul of art, set to be released on 26th February 2015, fans
across Africa await a taste of the work
With hit songs such as Regular Day, Lost For Words, The Loudest Silence and Legacy the
Soul, Rock, African Jazz fusion used to create this album along with the unique and
rarely seen variety of young and up-coming artists used in the album, it is one
incomparable to any other artist’s, in Africa or the world. In the album each song speaks
of pivotal and fundamental parts of his life, with humour, romance, spirituality, pain and
fear, carefully and uniquely expressing events which have changed his life, and
perspective towards things, people and situations
B Joshua noted that since beginning this journey he has lived more live-times then most
even dream of, and if it is true that humans only use 10 % of their brains it is further
proof that only such a vessel could host a piece of God.
He also let us in on a little secret that this is the first of only 12 Albums he will have in
his music career, when asked as to why specifically 12 albums he admitted that he did
not know but the number spread all over history, Jesus had 12 disciples , in Greek
mythology Olympus has 12 Gods, there’s 12 months in a year, a day is split in two 12
hour segments, the Prophet Muhammad had 12 successors, the human body has 12
pairs of ribs, 12 pairs of cranial nerves, the list continues, thus why he has 12 songs in
the first of 12 Albums
