This prayer pack is designed to help you
understand some of the greatest needs of
the Boaz Trust for this week. We hope it will
encourage you in your prayers and bring
you into a clearer understanding of the
constant but changing need calling out to
us all everyday. Thank you for joining us in
our walk of prayer; we thank God for you
and pray he will bless you greatly in return.
Saturday 16th Apri l
T h a n k s g i v i n g
for NACCOM, for the work of the network in
resourcing and equipping organisations to do
this work across the UK. Also we thank God for
Dave Smith, our director and the leader of
NACCOM.

Lord God, we ask for
for Boaz's relationship with those in authority,
particularly UKBA, and for those who have the

Sunday 10th Apri l
T h a n k s g i v i n g
for all of our clients and the ones who
received Leave to Remain last year!
I am now happy. They are excellent and very
helpful when you need them. I want them to
grow more to help more people. Without the

Lord God, we ask for
your presence to be with the staff and
volunteers at Boaz, and for the Trustees. Pray
for a continuing strength and a growing
passion for the work they do. Please pray for
tighter bonds within all team relationships,
that they would work as the most effective
team they can be
with an ability to
support and
encourage each
other as well as
clients.

for the Boaz hosts, for their cheerful
dedication, sacrifices and provision. They
live out the words “For I was a stranger and
you invited me in” Matthew 25:35

financial provision this year, that Boaz
would be able to not just survive but thrive,
despite the cuts and increasing competition
for independent funding.

for our advocacy team, both staff and
volunteers, working to help clients access
the support and legal aid they need.

problems and giving us any solution which is

Lord God, we ask for
your strength, comfort and peace for the
clients struggling with mental health, fear of
deportation, loss of other loved ones, health
problems and loneliness.

Fr iday 15th Apri l

for the Boaz houses across Greater Manchester
and for the night shelter, for the seven
churches that have supported this for the last 5
months

help each other. The Boaz Trust do God’s work.”

Lord God, we ask for
your hand to be on the housing team as they
explore the possibility of a long-term venue for
a night shelter; for wisdom, discernment and
financial breakthrough in this major area of
need. Pray also for the houses, as we lose one
community house and seek to gain another,
pray for the clients
relationships in the houses
and for continued financial
provision.
Tuesday 12th Apri l
T h a n k s g i v i n g
for the Boaz hosts, for their cheerful
dedication, sacrifices and provision. They
continue to live out the words “For I was a
stranger and you invited me in” Matthew 25:35
“...Before I had nothing, now I have many things.
I have somewhere to live and food to eat. My
host family support me and show me

Lord God, we ask for
prayer for more hosts to come forward,
particularly in light of the night shelter
closing at the end of April. Pray for Cat as
she coordinates the hosts and handles
difficult situations.
Wednesday 13th Apri l
T h a n k s g i v i n g
for those in Manchester working in the area
of destitution; for our friends at Rainbow
Haven, WAST, British Red Cross, MRSN,
Georgehouse Trust and Refugee Action, and
for all those working on the City of Sanctuary
project.
