FLAT

PCs are investigating a

flat. When they enter,

they see a lot of mail

several weeks/months

old, on the dining room

table. It is addressed

to one of the PCs. Why

is it there?

LIBRARYThe PCs go to the Library to ask for a book. At

the entrance they get hit by a man leaving at the

same time. He is an untidy man with a sparse beard

and lost eyes. When they ask for the book, and the

librarian gives them an old tome. As they sit to

check it, they realize it is not the book they have

asked for, but a tome full of handwritten notes in

different inks and with different dates (separated by

lots of years), but all with the same calligraphy!

As they are checking some information, they realize

that the person sitting in front of them is taking

notes in a strange alphabet, not from any known

language. The book the man is checking is titled

'Basic Biology'. Who is the man? What is he noting

down?

As they look for a tome in the farthest bookcases,

the PCs realize that no matter how many ways they

try they cannot find the way back to the reading

room. They are trapped among the bookcases. Has

the book of arcane knowledge they wanted to take
