    Since its launch in 1986, PERI TRIO hasdeveloped into the worlds most suc-cessful panel formwork system. Argu-ments such as few different panel sizesor only one single connecting part, theBFD alignment coupler, have set bench-marks in the industry.

    The MX tie is installed from one side only which makes the MAXIMO

    2. Screw in MX Tie with the MX Tie RodSpanner-2 until the Eye Bolt can beattached.

    1. Push the tie through through theclosing formwork into the wingnut ofthe placing formwork and screw in.

    The conical-shaped MX Tie rod is alsoset in the concrete when filling theformwork. Due to the special form,spacer tubes and cones are not re-quired. This saves materials and the tiecan be installed and removed consider-ably quicker.

    4. Tighten Eye Bolt.3. Tighten MX tie with the MX Tie RodSpanner-2 as far as it can go.

    1. First loosen and then completely un-screw the Eye Bolt.

    2. Remove ties by means of the MX TieRod Spanner-2.

    Dismantling ties

    The opening in the frame allows deviations ofthe tie rod angle of 4.

    The tie hole is protected against any impactthrough a metal ring. The Sealing Sleeve seals

    the tie point and prevents any concrete bleeding.

    With the PERI MAXIMO, the convention-al DW 15 and DW 20 systems can beused as well as the MX tie technology.

    With MAXIMO, the tie points are sys-tematized, i. e. all panel sizes are centri-cally arranged and each position is en-gaged.

    MAXIMO tie point. MAXIMO does not require any edge

    ties, all tie points are always engaged.

    With conventional panel formwork, all

    unused edge tie points must be

    closed.

    Additional work is frequently necessarydue to unclosed tie holes:Freeing the tie points in the panel

    which have been plugged with con-crete.
