Experienced veteran of the video post-production industry in Los Angeles, CA. Has worked both in creative and technical aspects of video post production – managing, designing and maintaining post facilities, both as employee and owner – and working as online editor and DI colorist.

History

2012 – Present 4K FinishOwner / ColoristOwner, and colorist of an independent color-grading suite in Los Angeles, CA. Servicing clients for episodic TV, national brand spots, and independent feature films. Built a state of the art 4k/UHD broadcast color-grading facility from the ground up. Conform, grade, and finish projects on DaVinci Resolve and DV Nucoda for broadcast and theatrical release.

2003 – 2012 Post + BeamOwner / Editor / ColoristFounding partner and owner of a boutique video post facility in Santa Monica, CA. Serviced top-tier clients in commercial production, such as Anonymous Content and RSA, talent agencies including WME and ICM, and cinematographers including Claudio Miranda, Gabriel Beristain, Paul Cameron, and many others. Built multi bay facility from the ground up, trained staff, and later secured additional financing to expand and enlarge the services and business in second location. Worked directly with high-profile director and DP clients (including Ridley and Tony Scott, Zach Snyder, Mikael Solomon, and John Toll). Moved and expanded the facility twice, and designed and implemented workflows and equipment purchases.
