  • Husky Pride Citizenship Program The Husky Pride Citizenship program is a school-wide program that focuses on the positive attributes of the student’s behavior and restorative practices. Our goal is to help students become good decision makers in the area of self-control and social relationships in a positive learning environment. Our expectations are that students will be good citizens on campus, during field trips, riding the bus and when representing the school at any function.

Our Husky Pride Cheer states our beliefs.

As part of the Husky Pack: We are Helpful We Own our Actions We make Wise Choices We Love Learning and Safety Comes First

    We are Howling with Pride!

The HOWLS behaviors are expectations for every area of our campus. Teachers and staff are teaching and reinforcing our students for exhibiting these positive behaviors. One way we recognize them is through a HOWL OUT. The HOWL Out cards are given to a student for following the expectations. The HOWL Outs are celebrated on the morning announcements and the top portion is kept for prize drawings.

Students who choose to not follow the expectations will receive consequences commiserate with their behavior. There are certain behaviors that will directly result in an office referral:

    • Continued disrespect or defiance • Harassment • Fighting, including “play fighting” • Destruction of property • Possession, use or sale of dangerous

items including alcohol, tobacco, illegal or dangerous drugs, weapons, lighters, matches, firecrackers, etc.

At Hidden Hills, all students have the right to attend school without the fear of being

harassed. Harassment is generally defined, as making someone worry, feel tormented or troubled. Forms of harassment include: sexual, ethnic or racial and religious. Bullying is also considered harassment. Hidden Hills has a Zero Tolerance policy for bullying. We encourage students to tell staff or a teacher right away if they experience any forms of bullying- this helps with investigation and quick resolution.
