HOLIDAY AND VACATION SCHEDULE Residential, Intermediate and Severe Programs

2019-2020 School resumes on: Monday, August 26, 2019 for the 2019-2020 school year. NECC Residential, Intermediate, and Severe Programs are open 365 days a year. For families wishing to schedule home visits for holidays/vacations, we recommend the following:

August 31-Septmeber 2, 2019 Labor Day Recess September 29-October 1, 2019 Rosh Hashanah Recess October 8-9, 2019 Yom Kippur Recess

October 12-14, 2019 Columbus Day Recess November 9-11, 2019 Veterans Day Recess

November 28-December 1, 2019 Thanksgiving Recess

December 23-December 27, 2019 Winter Recess

January 18-20, 2020 Martin Luther King Day

February 17– 21, 2020 February Vacation

April 20-24, 2020 April Vacation

May 23-25, 2020 Memorial Day Recess

June 29-July 3, 2020 1st Summer Vacation Week August 24-28, 2020 2nd Summer Vacation Week

*Designated school/holidays are not mandatory. Participation in holidays/vacations is based on a visit schedule developed by each family. *MA DESE regulations require that MA students cannot be away from the program for longer than 14 consecutive days. *NY Regulations requires that students are only allowed 15 days of vacation per calendar year (excluding scheduled vacations, holidays, and weekend days). *New York City students must be at the school on the first and last days of the school year and summer program.
